The June 26 and June 27, 2019 Democratic Debates Thread

Yang is getting completely side-lined. I think he has two questions over an hour into it and he refuses to step-in any where.

He has completely blown it. The crazy horoscope author lady has had more time and better soundbites. He has two more debates but this first showing is a real shit show and complete disappointment.

Unfortunately, Yang's lack of political experience is really showing right now. This format does him no favors but he is clearly out of his element.

Wow, Joe Biden looks old and feeble.

Not sure he can go the distance.

Joe’s campaign says he’ll be too tired to go to the post debate spin room.

Yup

Nah, Yang got his chance. They literally gave him time in his own segment about his biggest platform, $1,000 per month. That had nothing to do with any other candidate, and yet they decided to give Yang the platform to discuss that during the first 30 minutes of the show.

He had to have known he would only have 1 minute to answer that. He should've been ready. He wasn't. He stuttered, "Ugh what", and then couldn't explain it in a simple enough way in a short amount of time. Again, he should've had that speech thought out and ready to go ahead of time. He probably did, maybe he choked.

By the way, Tulsi didn't get much time last night either but someone put a poll on RVF that she was the most searched person after last nights debate. She made the most of her time. Yang has not so far.

Yang had his chance, but you're right Black Knight, dude is out of his element. I don't trust him one bit and I've already stated that in the 2020 Dem Thread. Yeah you can say he's not a politician, but he's not a leader and it shows.

Yang has no political experience and he is up against people who have spent their whole lives living and practicing for this moment. I can cut Yang some slack. Maybe he gets his shit together for the next debate.

But he is not stepping up AT ALL and trying to hijack moments to get his two cents in; which he MUST do since P-MSNBC is not going hand him easy questions. No leadership/take charge-ness at all. Really disappointing.

I wrote about this before... how Yang is a "pleaser" type and non-confrontational and that his big weakness... and that's showing its colors now 10-fold. Tulsi's platform isn't as strong but she has the political experience and knows how to play the game better.

I'm voting Trump as of now.

I have no doubt you can cut Yang some slack. But he sure hasn't given unaware voters a reason to even care, much less give him slack (which you've stated in your posts).

I don't know why I'm wasting my time watching this shit show, but the more I watch her speak the more Kamala Harris is flat out detestable to me. Everything from her shrill "take charge!" tone to her resting bitch face and idiotic victim-oriented talking points makes me hope like hell she doesn't end up becoming the nominee for the Democrats. Not because I think she'll win, but because I can't stand the idea of being force-fed her face and voice by the mainstream media for the next 16 months.

Not that anyone else up there is much better, though.

You are correct.

I don't think he really has lost any potential voters for the most part. He will remain as a neutral non-entity as of now. He didn't make any moves or make any huge fuck ups. He isn't dead in the water but he certainly didn't seize the moment.

For guys like me who were more sold/partial sold on his basic platform though, they are very disappointed.

JEsus... that Eric Swalwell faggot (the super anti-gun guy) is repulsive. He looks like the kid at school who looked constipated constantly but shit his pants in-class once a week.

No one likes that kid.

Is there an American flag up on the debate stage? From looking at the pictures via Twitter, I haven't seen it yet.

The American flag looks to be in the background on screens, haven't noticed a physical flag though.

They need a Mexican flag on stage since that is who they seem to be representing.

More like an EU flag because the Democrats are a bunch of Globalists (except Tulsi).

Slippery slope homie

Biggest greediest company in the nation that is failing our democracy is the Democratic Party. Let's start by breaking that fucker up!

Does anybody have an idea on what the average democrat thinks of the debates? Not the new young socialists but an old school middle class working type.

I think you mean blue collar/union labor types. I am not sure if many of them are left in the USA and Trump took a large portion of this voter segment last go around.

If I had to guess, they probably feel as bad about this whole situation as most everyone else here does. If I come across one I will have to ask them, but I think most of them have given up.

I think the Democrat party today consists of...

Victimhood mentality group. Some group who already gets special benefits but wants more of these benefits and believes they are a victim and only the Democrats can save them.

Govt. worker class looking to save their own jobs.

Old hippy libtards who worship their God of Neo-Liberalism and have no clue what is going on in the world around them.
