The state of modern film making might be in shambles, but I think that the new Halloween films are an exception. (This one and Halloween 2018 which I also liked.) It`s an all round well made film that actually manages to create characters that are interesting and that you can relate to. There are some hints of "strong women," but not enough to make it annoying. It starts of kind of slow, but manages to build tension, and also set things up for the big finale. I rate it a 7/10, worth a watch!</blockquote>
