I was going through the OnlyFans thread and Roosh’s latest video on it, observing how such technology is changing us. I thought to share something which I think is very relevant now. I wrote this 3.5 years ago for an IMDB Cinema/Art thread around Trump’s inauguration.
Warning: this might seem slightly blackpill and sarcastic, but I am seeing it as possibly happening. I have added my present day observations after.
The Needle Always Moves Left
This is the time (Jan’17) when the discussion of left vs right can be gleaned from almost any topic. Thanks to Social media of the past decade and onset of ultra-fast globalization, the liberal culture went into overdrive. Art has indeed been affected heavily.
Art, usually synonymous with progressive agenda, has got shackled by the PC culture that liberalism has brought forth. The entities that were symbol of liberalism such as globalism and minority, women, lgbt and race oppression have become the form of art that is mostly pushed forward by media. Hell, there have been some serious Oscar bait dramas on Climate change.
Artists and people attached to the art and media industry, living in their cocoon world, want to push this agenda for brownie points and because, they think this is the correct thing to do irrespective of feelings and logic. Basically: *beep* the art, yay PC!
Not accepting a liberal point of view concerning these topics in art, has become taboo. The same Liberal crowd that used to be viewed as a ‘little different’ and the voice of the oppressed has become mainstream and also the voice of the oppressors. So much so that one could even be prosecuted to go against the PC culture these days. The pipe of Marxism has flooded into Liberalism.
Some people in the past few years started noticing this dangerous Orwellian trend that was seeping into culture. They used the internet and inadvertently started the protest movement.
So started the Meme wars which utilized trolls as soldiers. Still on the fringes of the internet, the trolls gave a voice to the crowd that was fed up of PC culture and to the younger conservative generation that felt ostracized because of their non mainstream thoughts. The right political movement noticed this and utilized the populist sentiment of the downtrodden common man along with these troll soldiers to change the tide. So came Brexit, Trump and European political shifts.
This will indeed have an effect on art. It will take some time, but a strong paintbrush of anti-PC has gone through the canvas of present culture this year (2017) and previous (2016). YouTube, some movies and TV shows will reflect it in days to come. It will last for some years but it most probably will be just a phase.
The thing is that one cannot stop ultra-Liberalism. It has technology on its side. Globalism is an advent of technology. Regardless of how different or tribal we are, globalism pushes us to just accept others. We are made to think that we are all equal no matter how different biologically we are. The orthodox structure of human society is eroding day by day. Ultra-Liberal points such as gender fluidity is now called a scientific reality. Religious organizations are slowly coming to accept what they were strongly against.
A ruthless progressive thought process that is Genghis Khan to conservative old school thoughts, has firmly taken hold among humans.
Today's conservatives were yesterday's liberals and yesterday’s conservatives are extinct. Today’s liberals will be tomorrow’s conservatives. Notice the trend; the needle always moves Left.
After all, Humans desire Utopia. Science is trying to give us that possibility. Problem is that Utopia will desire equality which in turn desires our thoughts to be the same. So ensues an Orwellian world.
Sure the movies will suck, but the positive is that we might evolve from humans to some form of biologically gender fluid, genetically engineered, cyborgish, immortal ant workers for big brother, harnessing the power of A.I and the Sun to construct an interstellar spacecraft for our self-created Overlords so that they can travel far beyond the Galaxy.
Present Day to Future: I expected media to have a bigger Redpill or conservative change. Some media outlets such as Foxnews(Tucker), YouTube, etc. did have a phase but most conservative or right leaning and Redpill media makers got censored. Redpill ideology, though now more known by the world, is still not as strongly or quickly absorbed as current technology is by younger generations.
A big portion of the world population is still quickly moving extreme left and the right is unable to balance the ship. We are on a collision course and the impact is going to be strong such as a war.
The first battle might not even be related to left vs right. It might be something such as a Coronavirus 2nd phase, push for mandatory health monitoring and tech adoption, a big Middle East war or even a China vs US skirmish. However, this first battle might speed up the process of complete division between Left and Right. People will try to adjust over the years as per the divisions but tensions would be high and only a small ignition would be required to cause a full-scale war.
If full scale war does breakout, then I expect Redpill Christians, along with other conservative communities from various religions, to join forces to fight against the liberals who might also include a substantial Atheist(communist) and Jewish number. The conservative side probably would have smaller forces but a bigger fight in them, since they would be fighting for humanity. The Liberal side might have bigger numbers, better economic resources and weapons tech on their side.
Things will go very bad for the conservative side when Liberals start using targeted nukes and advanced WMDs. The conservative side over a period of years or even centuries will be reduced to drastically low numbers and barely surviving, fighting stealth guerilla warfare.
Around that time, God willing, the second coming of Jesus will happen and he will descend on Earth to bring the war to an end, allowing the conservatives to win. A golden but limited age of humanity will ensue.
We will pick up technology again and complete being a Type 1 Civilization (Kardashev scale). The golden age will end. We will again descend into decadent, non-religious and immoral behavior. We will then use the tech to change ourselves into cyborgs or something else.
When we become a type 2 Civilization is when we no longer would be dominantly human. By this time the human purpose would have ended. We will quickly become a Type 3 Civilization as a fully evolved non-human entity, hive minded and continue to conquer the universe, perhaps meeting other alien civilizations along the way, till the universe’s end or Judgement day.
