The NFL is dying

Sadly, it is not dying. My stepfather mentioned that all the tickets are sold out. He is a typical liberal and supports the NFL being 'woke' and I guess there are millions of other brainwashed people like him. What a waste of money and time. At least when you watch sit on your butt and watch decent movies, you might learn something useful or have your mind challenged or it may get you interested in finding out more (if it is a movie based on a real story). How does watching football improve your mind? I don't care about the NFL, but the problem is many do and this is part of indoctrinating people (as most on this website already know).

How can straight males still want to watch American football these days? Many football players are anti-American and now they are also pro-homosexual.

I find this to be an aberration.

1) Pent up demand to do anything and spend disposable income across ALL sectors (why else are people paying $5-10k bump stickers for a Hyundai Palisade?).

2) Buccaneers are a winning team coming off a Super Bowl win with a popular quarterback. Fair-weather fandom.

3) General rallying behind local Florida championship teams this season.

People need to get off the whole "get woke, go broke" thing.

If there was even a SCINTILLA of truth in that, half of all corporations would be be bankrupt. They are not and they are doing record business with record profits.

Half the people on this very forum still order from Amazon and passionately defend doing so.

It's copium from the right. Corporations drive ideology through marketing, propaganda, and market control which in turn, dictates consumer behaviour, which then drive profits. The only time a corporation will go broke through ideology is if its adopts any type of right wing position.

They will go broke if people actively stop supporting such businesses. In some cases, it might be difficult to avoid some establishments. However, it is not much of a sacrifice to avoid going to an NFL game. It is weird to buy a ticket after knowing the NFL's stance on certain issues. Same goes for buying coffee at Starbucks or using Facebook or taking your kids to Disney. In many cases, it is easy to find an alternative business to support. Perhaps real churches (not the churches that display homosexual flags) can help by advising members to avoid certain businesses and even create a list with explanations why. Not all people are aware that the NFL or Starbucks or Google are pro-homosexual or pro-BLM.

You are right about 'go woke, go broke' proving to be a failure though. This shows that most Americans actively support homosexuals and BLM and businesses know that. That is what is most disheartening.

Everyone knew the NBA would bounce significantly from last year's truncated season , but the league has conservatively lost 1/3 of its audience. Look at the ratings for the finals this year and see if they come anywhere near the 15M-30M viewer figures of playoff games from even a few years ago. MLB is way down too, as was the NFL last year. A lot of people have checked out.

There was a great Revolver.news article last year that said the following: "The historic popularity and profitability of Tucker [Carlson's] show raises a simple, yet important question: why have none of the major networks, including Fox, attempted to copy his success? Wouldn’t the fabled “marketplace of ideas” dictate a certain convergence toward the topics and styles that draw the biggest audiences? ... Something is off here, and it suggests that the media industry does not work according to a simple profit motive. What if the true goal of a media conglomerate is not to produce a reliable and entertaining news service tailored to its audience, but rather to influence that audience on behalf of third parties? What if the purpose of a media company is not to be profitable for its own sake, but influential for the sake of others?"

I've come to believe the same about sportsball. It's another vehicle for propaganda, and profitability isn't the chief concern. None of the "made men" who pull the strings are going hungry anyway.

Football - like most sports on a national professional level - is not worthy of our support.

Its very telling and sad that entire communities are willing to sacrifice themselves financially to host a major league team.

Remember - YOUR tax dollars built that stadium that oftentimes can only be used for events sanctioned by the NFL, NBA, etc. It has to be maintained to THEIR standards or they will threaten to LEAVE. Most of the time, these facilities occupy large swaths of prime real estate and are infrequently used off-season. The teams don't pay for it. The teams don't pay for the upkeep. Your local taxes do.

Remember that next time your bus route gets dropped or you have to replace the sway bar links on your car because you hit another pothole or the city closes a library or cuts back on frontage lawn maintenance or doesn't have the funds for a fireworks display for a major holiday.

I know a Special Forces qualified man, currently on his some-teenth combat deployment, who remains an NFL fan. It is confusing to me. He is a natural red-pill and sees the world clearly. I won't say a thing to him about it. He's earned his right to a guilty pleasure. Same thing with my Father, a Vietnam combat vet. Hard, skeptical men, still with this blind spot. Well enough for me to bite my tongue in their presence. But not on my own free time.

Here are some stats to show the huge loss of NBA sportsball viewers. As expected, a big bounce from last year's truncated/fake crowd disaster, but look at the loss of fans since the last full season-- off 33% from 2019 and 50% from 2018. I watched some of that 2019 series-- they were probably the last NBA games I watched before I gave up on the NBA (and sportsball) altogether. Its ratings were seen as terrible due to the Raptors being one of the teams. Game 7 in 2016 drew over 30M viewers.

2018
G1: 17.67M
G2: 18.47M
G3: 17.45M
2019
G1: 13.38M
G2: 13.89M
G3: 13.35M
2020 (TRUNCATED / BUBBLE YEAR)
G1: 7.58M
G2: 6.67M
G3: 5.99M
2021
G1: 8.56M
G2: 9.38M
G3: 9.02M

I think that's great and hope it continues!

Not sure what this has to do with the NFL or it dying, though.

I've always just assumed that these corporations like the NFL and NBA were being subsidized to promote this degeneracy. Same goes for brands like Gilette. Once the Globalists get a few big companies promoting this stuff, the smaller companies just copy them because they think it's in vogue to do so.

The reason usury is a sin is because it allows a small group of insiders to create wealth out of thin air and from this spell they can control the world.

Every entity in the west runs on razor thin margins. That is why the lock downs hurt so badly. No entity has saved for a rainy day, despite record profits year after year.

So when the big banks say "you want those 2.75% interest rates extended, then jump" and all the corporations say "how high?".

Add in Blackrock Financial and other Wall Street financial banks getting free money from BOTH parties and then their stated corporate policy is wokism to be pushed on the stock that they buy up.

The nfl is dying because its "woke", that much is true. And for that reason, it should die and die forever. What confounds me is how woke got into this prestigious league. I get the racial aspect of it and I'm well aware of the machinations of the woke mob and how it infiltrates organizations etc. I saw it happen at Evergreen State College. What confuses me is the NFL is a meritocracy in the fullest sense of the word. Woke is anti-merit. Indeed, bioleninism offers a devil's bargain assuring otherwise pathetic people higher status for their loyalty and support. The NFL isn't for pathetic people, at least as it pertains to physical prowess and athletic ability. The men that are selected to play in the NFL represent a very rare cross-section of our society. They've endured a relentless and unforgiving vetting process that mercilessly chooses only the very very best. None of that is consistent with leftism, which is the polar opposite of such things and, moreover, actively seeks to dissolve such "constructs" as they call it. There is absolutely NO equality in the NFL and for that matter any professional sport. If anything, professional sport is an undeniable reminder to all of us that equality does not exist. In fact, it is the actual raw competition that appeals most to the viewers. Who wants to watch a match between two opponents where neither lose and neither win.

Of course, there's more to this picture. The racial component to this issue is central and not to be dismissed. Most of the men in the NFL are Black and that's the vector that enabled the woke to enter and take over.

The Minnesota Vikings and assistant coach Rick Dennison have parted ways after he refused to get the COVID-19 vaccine, ESPN reported Friday. His departure comes just one day after the NFL issued a memo coming down hard on unvaccinated players.

Dennison, who served as the team’s offensive line coach and run game coordinator since 2019, parted ways with the Vikings after choosing not to get vaccinated, making him the first coach to do so, according to the report.

The NFL issued a memo to all 32 clubs on Thursday informing them that COVID outbreaks among unvaccinated players could result in the forfeiture of games and loss of play.

Commissioner Roger Goodell said in the memo that the league does not intend to add another week to accommodate games that need to be rescheduled because of COVID outbreaks. It further stated that outbreaks among unvaccinated players could result in forfeiture and loss of pay for both teams if the games are canceled.

It will do well now that they have attracted millions of new homosexual and bisexual fans after their message stating "Football is gay." remember that football is everything (at least, the NFL ad stated this), it is more important than religion for many. The NFL came up with a huge troll campaigns (BLM kneeling and the football is gay ads) and the owners must be shaking their heads in both amusement and disgust as the sheep keep paying for more trolling.

I have to believe the owners are trolling fans. I can't believe (and don't want to believe) they are sincere, I will have more respect for them in fact if they are just toying with people just because they like getting a rise out of people.

The Washington Redskins have just announced they're changing their name to Washington Commanders. A more appropriate name would be the
Washington Boondogglers or the Washington Porkiers in honor (or dishonor) of all the grifting politicians who are giving away trillions of dollars to
special interests.
