NFL teams from Europe? Commissioner seems optimistic
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is hinting at the potential for the league's expansion into Europe.www.washingtonexaminer.com
Roger Goodell hints at an entire division in Europe, that is why they are playing a game in Germany this year, they will probably have multiple countries with teams. United Kingdom and Germany are at least two countries they have in mind. I think they may also be thinking about Spain and France.
Is there enough demand in Europe? When I lived over there I always somehow met a few local guys who liked American football enough to get up at ridiculous hours in the morning to watch games live, but it was very niche, not common.Thankfully, I've already lost some interest in the sport and don't really care anymore. Still, it's a horrible idea.
I don’t watch football but should this thread be called “The NFL is expanding?” It’s been five years since the first post and I’m still waiting for it to die. Do we have to wait for the boomers to go away or are subsequent generations really into this spectator thing too?![]()

I'm pretty sure spectator sports date back farther than the boomers, and will still be around after the boomers are gone.I don’t watch football but should this thread be called “The NFL is expanding?” It’s been five years since the first post and I’m still waiting for it to die. I actually saw another article where they were talking about potentially going from 32 to 40 teams, which just sounds dumb quite frankly. If they really wanna move to Europe they should just send 4 teams there and they will still have 28 American teams.I don’t watch football but should this thread be called “The NFL is expanding?” It’s been five years since the first post and I’m still waiting for it to die. They are trying to create demand there it seems. They've had games in London for over a decade and they are also playing in Germany this year. As for the games times, they play them at 9:30 am ET, which is mid afternoon in Europe. They're probably trying to increase the amount of TV slots per Sunday in order to increase ad revenue. Is there enough demand in Europe? That was fast. Most states have a waiting period of three months or more, sometimes a year. It seems like this happened within weeks of actually filing for divorce. That was super quick. Tom Brady & Gisele Bundchen are now officially divorced while his team is on a three game losing streak.

Its pretty self-angrandizing that these people are sharing their personal information publicly.
That should be surprising I guess considering that the NFL by its own admission.... is gay.
The defensive player charges out and tosses one of the offensive guys away like a rag, then pushes the quarterback about 20 yards back. What was this? lol
