Check out Loki: www.lokiusa.com. I have several of their pullover sweatshirts and I really like the hood and muffler design; it's very comfortable and useful.

They have built in mittens too, though I've hardly ever used them except as a sort of party trick which girls inexplicably love.

I don't know what their quality is like now, but my sweatshirts have lasted pretty well with a lot of wear over 5 years.

I'm going to see about having something similar made in lined wool, without the mittens, at some point. One of my sweatshirts is pretty beat so I'm cool with having someone deconstruct it as a pattern.
