Rock Musician Meat Loaf has died at 74.

Comedian Louie Anderson passed away at 68 from cancer.

What? MEAT LOAF?

Meat Loaf didn't take kindly to Greta and her Climate Lies... he was also a strong Trump supporter though media tries to spoil that relationship and portray things otherwise (as one might predict)

I didn't agree with his social views but he could be a lot of fun. My favorite was Holidays in Hell which come out about 1990. I remember his quote "In China you can't get chinese takeout and in cuba you can't get cuban cigars and thats about all you need to know about socialism"
There was also a bit where he travels to Russia while it was still the Soviet Union with all these american commie sympathisers and he says these guys all say Russian Socialism is the best yet they all packed toilet paper for the trip!

Gone but never forgotten.

Also was in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, but the less said about that the better. I had a girlfriend back in the 80s who insisted I watch Rocky Horror picture show because she said it was great. I sat through it and hated it. Things we do for love huh? Frankly I should have known that relationship was over right then

Actor William Hurt has died at 71.

I remember the movie "One True Thing", in which he played the husband, with Meryl Streep as his wife, who gets cancer, and eventually dies, but only after a long, difficult battle.
His character, who of course is not him in real life, is a real jerk, becoming emotionally withdrawn, pushing all the caregiving on his daughter, then having an affair.

I saw this years ago, before my wife got cancer. In my case, I cheated on her after 10-15 years of hard core withholding sex, but I stopped when she got cancer.

My wife lasted four years before dying a few months ago. I was her number one care giver, especially the last 6-8 months when she became more severely debilitated. Regardless of the different details, I can't judge his character's behavior. It was wrong and sinful, but I certainly cannot cast the first stone against his character.

I would say the movie was a pretty realistic portrayal of the difficulties with a wife getting cancer, going through treatment, and dying. Hurt put in a strong performance of a deeply flawed, but real character.

However, I will never watch this movie again!

Despite being fine with so many Iraqi deaths and deaths of other foreigners, she was praised by top leaders including Bill Clinton. As much as we criticize 'martyrs' like George Floyd (with good reason), this woman did a lot more damage in her life and had even fewer excuses to do these bad things.

"Kill a few people, they call you a murderer. Kill a million and you're a conqueror."
