The real reason Andrew Mark Cuomo is being taken down now. Guess who?

It's a civil was between the progressive wing of the party and the standard holders. Look at how people have taken sides: people like AOC are calling for Cuomo's ouster while Pelosi and Biden are pushing back on it.

I think we're hearing these things now because they were simply afraid of giving negative coverage to Trump's opponents.

They probably have a worse replacement in mind too.

I can think of one pop culture relevance that’s actually relevant. Does anyone remember from Star Wars old portrayals of Sith Society such as in the Old Republic franchise? In there it’s shown to be an utterly ruthless, socially Darwinian environment where there is no such thing as peace and life is defined by a constant struggle for power and position within the with hierarchy, by any devious means possible.

I imagine being in the Democratic Party or any socialist bureaucracy is kind of like that. Even once you take over you never get to enjoy it because you are constantly living in a paranoid state of having to watch for and thwart potential rivals for your position.

Good point.

The media is on board with the hard core communists and even the "moderate" democrats are too conservative now that Trump has been eliminated. Biden, Pelosi et al are old as dirt anyway but their usefulness is almost depleted. Cuomo is obviously on dead empty and dead weight

For another 'entertainment' reference.
You just described Warhammer's Skaven (rat-men) :

"Out of all the mortal civilisations within the greater world, no single race, neither the ruthless barbarian tribes of the north nor the savage greenskins of the east can be compared in terms of instability to that of the Skaven Under-Empire. The Skaven race as a whole is extremely divided, often far more divided than perhaps any other race known in existence. Such disunion and ruthless lack of cooperation stems from the Skaven's insatiable need to survive, thrive, and reign tyrannically over his brethren. To a Skaven, there is no such thing as pity, remorse, compassion, or cooperation. There is simply survival, survival in a turbulent society that only spares those that possess the brute strength, extreme cunning, and the vicious instinct to outmanoeuvre and kill the opposition, no matter the cost or the body count of either friend or foe. Though no matter how divided their race may be, they are nonetheless unified in a single cause, and that cause is to conquer the surface world and bring about the Great Ascendancy, where it is said that the Horned Rat's children will swarm across the face of the earth and claim all of it as their own"

It’s a fairly common trope in some ways, but I picked the one I know best and that I suspect most people know best.

That’s also more or less how people who lived under Stalinism say it was actually like. Endless political competition as you try to rise to the next post in the party without being sent to the Gulag.

Yep.
Most folk who play Warhammer in it's various forms or read Star Wars comics or play Star Wars video games featuring the Sith, probably wouldn't think too much about the inspiration or implication of such ruthless & sinister fictional factions.

Yet there is a clear & evident real world inspiration to those fictional factions, that do so well mirror the immoral & ignoble nature of Soycialists.

He was supposed to show everyone how liberals could better deal with pandemics, then get the DNC nomination and save the world from Trump. He let the oligarchs down?

This is Chicago style politics. Preferred method being metaphorical death and irrelevance by character assassination.

"The allegations might not be true but can you prove they aren't true?"

Obama and the Rahm's written all over it. Kamala is Obama & Co plus his backers, whoever they are, chosen mechanism and lord knows she and that cackle polls worse than a thumbtack on a cushion seat. Cuomo presents a threat to their 10 year strategy as he can coax the vast middle into a primary challenge.

So he's gots to go. These people have no principles, just politics. You go to the Gulag all the same, just the public perception Gulag.

My suspicion is the real reasons are as follows:

1. Cuomo is a threat to Kamala’s (and her Jewish husband’s) plans for power. If it came to a DNC nomination, Cuomo is a good candidate.

2. Andrew has mafia connections, and the Italians and Jews have not always gotten along.

3. He messed up with nursing homes, and there has to be a sacrificial lamb.
Cuomo himself is a jew.
