The Ron DeSantis Thread

Maybe. The main benefit of a Trump presidency is that it gets the bureaucracy to focus their resources on attacking his organization and diverts resources from attacking the grassroots.

In a lot of other areas it’s better to have him out. You wouldn’t get things like the Missouri bill banning enforcement of gun laws, Florida’s COVID passport ban, etc. with Trump still in office. You also wouldn’t be seeing things like how parents are aggressively going after school boards and throwing them out under Trump because Trump is a massive pacifier of the grassroots.

Fear is a good motivator and it’s hard to get people to do anything when they’re just “trusting the plan”.

You can see a massive awakening on social media. It is almost as big as when Trump was running in 2016.

When Trump was running in 2016, the awakening was massive and I was awakened as well. The moment was when Trump was in the GOP debate saying we need to stop policing the world and start policing our borders and the GOP crowd booed that. I was furious and before I could ask "who is booing?" Trump said "there is the donor class profiting off of this booing", and I was snapped to reality of what is happening.

Now Trump is gone and things are going to shit even faster, I see a 2nd awakening. This time it is Trump supporters to further right wing causes. And you can see this visually in the retweets and likes people like Nick Fuentes, Scott Greer, and Ann Coulter doubling in numbers. Other groups have reported a large bump in listeners to their podcasts. People want answers.

If DeSantis is smart he will appeal to this new energy from the young right wing. And if he wins he must do something big for his base to keep them interested in him in 2024. Trump lost 5% of white male voters from 2016 to 2020, DeSantis can't afford this and win reelection.

I don't care what anyone says: I'd love to see Trump win for a third time in 2024 (just to piss off the neo-marxists), followed by 8 years of President DeSantis. The leftist outrage would be glorious. Despite the over-exaggerated black-pilling here-- as demonstrated over the last six months, a Trump presidency is an infinitely better outcome than any other career-politician they decide to install (i.e. Sleepy Joe and Heels-Up Harris). I've never seen more damage carried out in such a short period of time.

That's inarguable, say what you will about Trump but Biden has not done one single good thing that has benefitted everyday Americans. It's actually been pretty blatant that everything he has done, he being his handlers, have hurt common Americans and only benefitted other countries or small garbage groups.

I told you circling the wagons was a possibility. People get too caught up in the current state to see the big picture. I'm glad, generally, you have come around. 2022 is literally the last stand; let's see what happens.

The counter-argument is that with Biden in charge regular Americans know what we're facing, whereas with Trump we were pacified and stupefied with false hope. I think that with another four years of Trump we would still arrive at the same place, just slightly slower and with more of a "boiled frog" perspective than the frontal assault we're facing now.

I get it but I have a lot of family and people I care about who I need to protect. I’ll happily delay the inevitable as long as possible….

I think the only chance is getting people to wake up. And by wake up I don't mean moving people from DNC to the GOP. I mean getting people past the GOP and into at a minimum Scott Greer, Ann Coulter and Tucker Carlson for a start. Then pushing them on to Nick Fuentes "America First" style which will make them push the GOP further to the right where they need to be. Or if the GOP refuses to do so then a 3rd party is formed.

Unfortunately with democracy getting 50%+ to this point is going to be extremely difficult. A lot of people voting for DNC, or refusing "America First" policies, have no desire to face reality, because they can escape it in their safe suburbs or college campuses for the time being.

If this fails, then it is going to get ugly. All in all we will see if the America First types can push the GOP to the right and force them to finally do something big for the American people. And we will see this in how DeSantis campaigns. The fact that DeSantis has pulled ahead of Trump is promising. It shows it isn't about a cult of personality as much as people waking up and saying "okay who is serious about helping us".

All in all for me it is two things...

#1) Can DeSantis even win in 2024? If not, then by 2028 the demographics will make it too late to solve these problems in the voting booth alone.

#2) If DeSantis does win, how does he win. Does he win because he goes hardcore America First or does he win because he is simply better than Harris by a slight margin and people feel forced to vote for him to keep Harris out. If the latter, then him winning really doesn't matter and we are in the same position as if he would have lost.

Some people will simply never get it, never take the time to understand it in detail, and never understand that it's a spiritual rivalry between two spiritual kingdoms, and not really about race. Thankfully we have people who write great books on the topic, so that those who do want to understand, can.

It's the Zionist Jews who make a big deal about race. Zionist Jews are arguably the most racist people on the planet (along with the Japanese). Zionist Jews are the ones who make a big deal out of genealogies / bloodlines - even the Lord pointed this out in the Gospel of St. John.

Go down to your local Synagogue and ask the Rabbi about converting to Judaism - you won't be welcomed in with open arms! Converting to Judaism is a long, arduous process and even if you manage to convert you'll never be fully accepted. In the meantime, an individual who is born to a Jewish mother is automatically accepted by the community (even if they have zero interest / involvement with the Jewish religion).

It's legit and I've included the relevant parts below.

Edit: including direct pdf link to the FL gov document. https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2021/2006/BillText/er/PDF Also updated the formatting on the quote below.

The conservative "outsiders" come to the rescue again!

The State Health Officer, upon declaration of a public 1057 health emergency, may take actions that are necessary to protect 1058 the public health. Such actions include, but are not limited to:
4. Ordering an individual to be examined, tested, 1098 vaccinated, treated, isolated, or quarantined for communicable 1099 diseases that have significant morbidity or mortality and 1100 present a severe danger to public health. Individuals who are 1101 unable or unwilling to be examined, tested, vaccinated, or 1102 treated for reasons of health, religion, or conscience may be subjected to isolation or quarantine. 1104 a. Examination, testing, vaccination, or treatment may be 1105 performed by any qualified person authorized by the State Health 1106 Officer. 1107 b. If the individual poses a danger to the public health, 1108 the State Health Officer may subject the individual to isolation 1109 or quarantine. If there is no practical method to isolate or 1110 quarantine the individual, the State Health Officer may use any 1111 means necessary to vaccinate or treat the individual.

From what I've read about it, the wording existed in FL statute prior to DeSantis signing the bill for many years. The comments here about it shed a bit more light on what happened:

Here's the relevant text from user CharlieBrown:

Good morning fellow Patriots, it’s important to outline what transpired in order to be very clear on what this post has depicted. Gov. DeSantis did not sign into law forced vaccination. This (unfortunately) has been in law for almost 20 years now. Pre Desantis. It allows the Health Department under a state of emergency, if they deem necessary, to use any force necessary, quarantine, isolate or vaccinate an individual. Health Freedom Florida has been fighting to remove this language for years. More recently, FFK and other health freedom grass roots have also joined this fight to remove this language. Last session Legislator Anthony Sabatini created a bill (HB6003) which struck out the word vaccine under the existing law. It did not move through a single committee. Legislators had the opportunity to do this and get it to Densatis. They failed to take action. If we are Constitutionalist we would understand that is how law making works. Thus, the calls need to be into the legislators demanding to know why they kept this in place. Regarding the amendment SB2006; this section referenced was amended to support the protection for schools, businesses and government agencies from using “vaccine passports” or proof of vaccination documentation. There was value in this last minute modification. It’s important to note under this section legislators also struck out a mute word and that is being used to create the image that this forced vaccination was added. We need to be factual here or we become part of the misinformation campaign. Simply stated, Desantis did not put into law forced vaccines.

Considerations; why is this being pushed out now? Bill was signed a while ago. Why after DeSantis announces re-election? Why are we being mislead? What’s the goal? Things to ask. Or quite possibly being pushed for pressure to get this law removed? Possibly. And that’s a possibility. But again we still need to be factual.

(To the writer, who’s the source on this? We know some people who have been spinning this about Desantis but motivations are important to consider there. Very unclear as to why Desantis is being pitted as the fall guy… and, don’t know who posted this and it isnt an attack on them. But it’s important that we be factual.)

It’s a very bad law.

But It did not become law by Desantis.

If this law upsets you.

Call your legislators and tell them you Need protection. Anti discrimination law protecting our health status. We should be a protected class. It’s time we protect the unvaccinated, immune and vaccinated. We do this by adding health status to the protected class.

DeSantis is Trumpian on policy: anti-establishment, tough on immigration, against Big Tech monopolies and censorship, willing to fight culture wars, pro-worker, skeptical of war — ‘America First’ without the baggage. He’s bombastic and funny, but more palatable and less petty or offensive than Trump. Florida Republicans tell me that he is not a ‘natural politician’. He keeps a tight circle of friends and advisers, deeply understands policy and the law (a rare case of a Harvard law degree going to good use) and is unbothered by unflattering portrayals from the media and political opponents.

Trump handicapped himself through his inability to surround himself with good people. His staffers were either incompetent or were working against his agenda at every turn. DeSantis keeps tight control over his ship. He has high standards and thus a high turnover, but he understands policy and law — and runs an efficient team and a leak-proof administration. ‘His people will make you a pariah if you are disloyal to DeSantis,’ the Florida commentator John Cardillo says. ‘In Trumpworld it was the other extreme. You only became a pariah if you were loyal to Trump.’

‘Maybe the best way to understand Ron DeSantis — who came out of nowhere for a lot of Americans outside Florida — is to know that he was a longtime Rush Limbaugh listener,’ says David Reaboi, a political communications consultant who lives in Miami Beach. ‘It’s not surprising that the governor has been on the leading edge of things conservatives care about, like Big Tech censorship, the trans issue or critical race theory. Conservatives really get a sense that DeSantis is “one of us”, because he is.’

DeSantis does seem to have his ear to what ideas are getting the most traction in the conservative movement - more so than a lot of the boomer generation or beltway conservatives. I've heard him twice use the phrase "soy latte drinking" to describe your typical big tech loving liberal which makes me wonder if he actually knows about the soy boy meme.

NAXALT is gone man. I have seen the "anti-Zionist" ANTIFA Jews say "yeah Zionism is bad but lets make sure we destroy Whitey." Any Jew that's honestly anti-Zionist is marginalized and of no consequence.

So, it is back to work, especially for restaurant employees.

This is a big mistake on his part and will cost him re-election, at which time he will fade from the national stage.

No I think its actually brilliant. Forcing all the people that are making more staying home on unemployment back to work will get the FL economy booming even more

It doesn't, but that said the free money is an artificial "prop up" that impedes growth. Cutting it off doesn't cause a boom but you do tend to get a crowding out effect (ref: CFA curriculum) from such programs.
