Footage from the Ivankovskoye-Bakhmut 'road of death'.

Another video from the road of death for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, passing through the village of Ivankovskoye to Bakhmut .

The filming is carried out by one of the Ukrainian soldiers who came for the evacuation of bodies from the wrecked BREM-1, which, in turn, was trying to evacuate other Ukrainian vehicles wrecked on the road.

In the frame you can see the abandoned and destroyed BMP-1, Dingo and Kazak-7 armored vehicles, as well as the YPR-765 armored personnel carrier. The filmmaker states that it has accumulated over three days.

More accusations from Prigozhin today. How much is true? How much is theater?

The EU is planning an 11th sanctions package, as the other 10 worked out so well.

The Washington Post reports that the UK is making arrangements to send long range Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine. How long before these missiles are used against Russian cities?

Britain, which has prided itself on being ahead of its Western allies in introducing new weapons systems to Ukraine, now appears poised to send Kyiv the long-range missiles the Biden administration has long denied it.

In a procurement notice posted May 2 by the British-led International Fund for Ukraine, a group of northern European countries that has set up a mechanism to send weapons to the battlefield, the United Kingdom’s Defense Ministry asked for “expressions of interest” in providing strike capabilities with a range of up to 300 kilometers, or nearly 200 miles. The notice asked for responses within three days.

No final decision has been made, according to a British official who declined to confirm the type, timing or quantity of weaponry under consideration. But the notice is a substantive step toward Britain itself supplying such munitions, and the requested specifications and capabilities closely match its air-launched Storm Shadow cruise missiles.

An article in The Atlantic says that the Pope believes the flow of arms to Ukraine should stop and that there should be an immediate ceasefire.

Pope Francis has staked a position on the war in Ukraine that puts him more in line with Beijing, New Delhi, and Brasília than Washington, London, or Brussels: He wants to end Ukraine’s armament by the West and negotiate an immediate cease-fire. Earlier this week, Francis vaguely alluded to a mission he was working on to end the conflict. Yet he seems to have alienated many of the actors whose support he would need to do so.

“Never in the last sixty years,” wrote Marco Politi, a journalist who has covered the papacy since 1971, “with regard to a matter of such international importance has the Holy See found itself in such a marginal position.”

Conscription summons are being handed to relatives of men, who are just as reluctant to accept.

A US HIMARS missile has hit a residential block of flats in Stakhanov, but did not explode. Fortunate for old lady living there. Another woman was not so lucky when a second HIMARS landed in a courtyard and killed her.

Stakhanov came under rocket fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Three HIMARS missiles reportedly hit the city.

According to preliminary data, two people died as a result of the shelling.

After the Ukrainians celebrated a day of not losing positions in Bakhmut, things appear to be back to normal.

To be fair to the Ukrainians, the Russian armed forces flanking Wagner had fallen back 600 meters.

British intelligence MI6 has reportedly told Zelensky that a counteroffensive in Bakhmut is too risky.

US officials are also concerned that the Prigozin ammunition drama is theater and a trap, with Chechen reinforcements possibly about to enter the city.

Rybar discusses the transfer of British long range Storm Shadow cruise missiles to Ukraine. The range may only be 300Km, not 560Km as stated.
We wrote about preparations for the transfer of British Storm Shadow cruise missiles back in October last year. At that time, active modernization of Su-24M bombers was carried out in Poland to integrate this type of weaponry.

Such a modification was a matter of time. Apparently, Western engineers have finished work, as they did earlier on HARM anti-radar missiles for the MiG-29.

And it is practically guaranteed that Storm Shadow will be used to strike airfields based on tactical and bomber aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces, given their range of 560 km.

An ammunition dump was struck by a missile attack in Khmelnitsky, Western Ukraine, resulting in an enormous explosion. It has also stopped the movement of trains though the area.

The Ukrainian flanking attack to the north of Bakhmut took some high ground.

Ukraine has allegedly used British Storm Shadow cruise missiles to strike at buildings in Lugansk.

It is reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the old building of the Academy of Internal Affairs in Lugansk this morning.

For the attack, most likely, Storm Shadow missiles were again used.

Two people were hospitalized after a missile attack on Lugansk. Several other people received minor injuries.

Experts draw attention to the fact that the fire at the site of a missile attack on a military warehouse in Khmelnitsky is being extinguished remotely by robots. Dosimetric patrols work in the city. Measurements of the radiation background are carried out "in uncharacteristic places." If earlier they were made in the area where the Khmelnytsky NPP was located (Neteshyn and its environs), now they are made in the regional center, in the west of the region and in Ternopil. After arriving at the military warehouse, the wind was blowing in a westerly direction. The authorities are silent about the work of patrols.

“My friends from Ukraine reported that the Westerners are panicking. They collect belongings and scratch away from Khmelnitsky, and from Lviv and Ternopil. From everywhere where there are Ukrainian military units, warehouses, repair shops. Locals whisper that the detonated warehouse in Khmelnitsky was filled to the brim with depleted uranium shells. And my sources confirm this, ” writes political scientist Yuri Kot.

After the explosion, an increase in gamma radiation was recorded in the city. The release continues to grow. Given that depleted uranium emits a relatively small dose of gamma radiation, the current surge indicates the destruction of a very large stockpile of munitions, which sent uranium dust into the air.
