To take my mind of things I've been watching the European championships. It's the first football I've watched in 4 years or so and it sure got Woke in that time. Apart from the "Respect" drive and taking the knee, now we've got women pundits. There's one on now who hasn't shut up since the game started and it's all inane jibber jabber:mad:

I am more shocked by the fact that in America-land people actually pay money to see womyn football

Quality-wise it's the equivalent of watching a male under 16 match somewhere deep in the province.
Disgraceful brats.

I have also thrown my weight behind Ingerland for the coming semis. Not because I like any of these BLM pandering, rainbow paraphernalia wearing simpletons, but because Norf FC. images (3).jpg

The US women's team actually did lose a friendly 5-2 to an MLS team's U-15 side a few years ago (albeit FC Dallas, which has arguably the best academy in MLS).

So.. England went out on penalties, again.

Whats interesting is that the last time this happened in the latter stages of a tournament the players involved became pariah figures and were extremely unpopular with the fans. I'm thinking of Chris Waddle in 1990 and Gareth Southgate in 1996 as well as David Beckham in 1998.
There was an attempt to rehabilitate Southgate via a Pizza Hut advertising campaign making light of his mistake, but then there was subsequent outrage that he should profit from letting down his country.

But what's happening this time?

Well, the players who missed the penalties were all POC - Players of Colour. England were ahead in the penalty shootout when Marcus Rashford stepped up. Marcus Rashford has been bathing in glory since he became a political activist on behalf of the Woke Left.

The guy was just a pawn used as a pantomime character by the media.
And this is the thing: the establishment view whatever demographic they use for their political purposes (feminist, migrant, trans, black) as their little pets. As such those people are not held to the same standards as others.
So, as we know, on Rotten Tomatoes they wouldnt allow negative reviews of Black Panther, such that BP ended up above The Godfather and Citizen Kane in their all time ratings. So ..
but the BP characters got top billing in the next all-star avengers film right? They got 10 minutes. At the end of the film.

They KNOW that their propaganda is BS, they know Rashford didnt personally do all that left wing campaigning on his own, they know he was just their chess piece but poor old Marcus believed the hype about himself...
so he ended up showboating like a ninny and missed the penalty.

Very interesting.
There is alot of criticism of the managers decision to bring on him and other young black players late in the game and give them the opportunity to take the penalties whereas the white players who got the chance just got on with it and rocketed the ball in the back of the net. ...enter the managers shenanigans - it is argued that he had one eye on the BLM headlines - and the diversity players messed up big time.

Rotten Tomatoes defended BP being an 'all time great' film saying that it had to be protected from a 'conspiracy' of 'right wing racists'. The movie was a special victim in its own class.

Google meanwhile will do all manner of 'auto-complete's on the name Marcus Rashford, but "Marcus Rashford penalty" isn't one of them.

So whilst Gareth Southgate and David Beckham had to endure infamy, already ex-England star Alan Shearer is saying that it 'wasnt fair' on Marcus to be brought on specifically as a penalty taker (even tho thats standard practice) and now the media are all over Rashfords special victim status as there is of course a nefarious racist right wing conspiracy/hate-campaign against him.

They know that all this is dishonest .. but they are fighting a propaganda war, complete with useful idiots.

Someone had asked in the Black Attacks on Asians thread, what will be the unintended consequences of all this special status and indulgence being accorded to Black people?

Well, here's one. The pet-project diversity stars end up believing their own BS and then finally, when they are on an equal playing field, end up humiliated on a massive stage.

P.S. that Time magazine piece had a sidebar "Olympics fails to spark LGBTQ reforms in Japan" Clown World.

Rashford was brought on to take the penalty because he has shown he can score an important penalty in a high pressure situation (MANU vs PSG in Champions league) , he was a perfect candidate for the shootout I don't think it had anything to do with diversity headlines. Its fair to say he should have been given more time on the pitch before the shootout, he only got to touch the ball twice.

The last penalty taker was a 19 year old who has taken exactly *zero* penalties during his entire professional career and who had played a shit tournament anyway

Meanwhile distinguished players like Grealish and Henderson were sidetracked because of this not particularly talented boy. Both of them have taken dozens if not hundreds of penalties during their career, and are (or were) both the number one penalty takers for their clubs

These antics are perfectly in line with the nonstop diversity pushing the English did for more than a month. The Bleqs were supposed to bring football home - it was supposed to be the cherry on the cake. And it blew up all in their face.

On the subject of Rashford he was the logical candidate, yes.

He has also spent the last year writing himself cheques about what an incredible social justice campaigner, person, role model he is... that he could never cash.
He had the choice to tell his handlers that headlines about him "negotiating school childrens futures with prime ministers" were too much - but he went in for it.

Everybody else who misses a penalty for England or even their club side gets rinsed (thinking John Terry for Chelsea) .. but all of a sudden he's a victim and its not his fault?

He was a professional stepping up as the legitimate next penalty taker - should have gone for something simpler, less complicated, less risky (as he had only just come on) and what did he do? It was the whole dog and pony show, with elaborate run up, pause, shot --- it was the only shot that wasn't even on target.
He humiliated himself there .. and I would argue that for Captain Social Justice a lot of chickens were coming home to roost.

There was alot of ego in that penalty shot. If you're telling me that his whole media, social media, look-at-me Jamboree wasn't a part of that prima donna penalty routine then .. I wouldn't believe it.

Chickens came home to roost.

The other two were pure "Diversity is our Strength" choices and Im not surprised that so many people in the UK are not happy. After all this Equity Diversity Anti Racism guff people were sick of race being shoved down their throats and lo and behold...
the media, the players, the SJWs, the management had it all blow up in their faces.

So of course its Plan B for the media:
Greta is just a child!!
Meghan Markle is a victim of Racism!!
project diversity goes wrong?
Rayyyyyycism! Theyre Victims! OMG!

Italy were obvious favorites and by far the better team. Its nice to see a heritage team do well.

The amount of middle class women Im seeing posting outrage that their special-victims-unit is being mocked is.. all too predictable.

Plenty of well deserved Schadenfreude going round as well.

It struck me right away that the tanned, feted ones were set up to fail. Even if they were not consciously aware of it, at some level they would've felt the expectation placed on them. This was a Woke tournament after all, kneeling in adoration of blackness, with SJW Kane and his rainbow captain's arm band, the black and female diversity quota pundits. Now they'll capitalise on any criticism as race hate. The beast must be constantly fed.

A mural of Marcus Rashford has been defaced.

The mural on the wall of the Coffee House Cafe in Withington was defaced with derogatory comments about Rashford including the words 'sh**e' and 'b*****d'. Further graffiti said 'f**k Sancho' - a reference to Rashford's Three Lions teammate Jadon Sancho, who also missed a penalty.

Chief Superintendent Paul Savill of the Manchester Metropolitan Police is personally on the case of the defaced mural and the massive hate crime.

I don't really count securing food for the poor as something bad, but the rest of the wokesignalling is bullshit.

Gareth and the gang never protested when a fellow footballer was killed by the police, but happily salutes American corporate driven wokeness by taking a knee for BLM. The Italian side were diplomatic, they only did it if their opponents requested it, as a mark of sportsmanship not submission.

Anyway, I'm glad Red team lost, they can get back to their virtue signaling.

Black Pigeon Speaks has a good video on how sportsball distracts our tribalist instincts.

I am more shocked by the fact that in America-land people actually pay money to see womyn football

Quality-wise it's the equivalent of watching a male under 16 match somewhere deep in the province.

Its entertainment, like women's tennis or volleyball. I mean, there wouldn't be any women's sports if we couldn't watch because they didn't match the mens quality

The viewership has been increasing by the year for the worldwide tournaments where the US typically enters as the wide favorites, and I think this actually represents the country to some degree worldwide in the sport

Thats not to say most people care about them, but you can see why they'd be popular with particularly young girls and hardcore US soccer enthusiasts
