Piano, great list.
Twilight Zone - these are very original shows, sort of science fiction. It takes a little effort to follow them because they are not formulaic like the rest of TV. But worth the investment.

HH, Rockford files - these are old but good.

Another good one from that era is Columbo, 90 minute mysteries that usually explore the true nature of human relationships

Another one for fun - Dukes of Hazard, Knight Rider. Used to watch these with my son instead of the current brainwashing that is on TV.

Second the list By Piano. However, I’d say the one show worth watching in the last 10 years is Fargo. Honestly surprised it didn’t make your list.

Breaking Bad is great in some ways because Walt is basically an “Alpha Poser”. He’s had some success due to being extremely good at the egghead side of what he does but he has that without the accompanying personality traits. His behavior is similar to when PUA was a thing and you’d see dweebs trying to “AMOG” people.

Every murderer, including the reunion movies, has been white. I guess I should take it as a compliment that white people are thought of as clever.

Walt is a Gamma; this is why the smarter crime bosses are wary of him, trying to cordon him off, they can smell how dangerous he is. But he destroys them anyway, not for any sort of profit, but to prove that he's the 'real Alpha'.

Season 4 of the Man in the High Castle is out and it concludes the series.

It’s the best paced, most dramatic & satisfying season yet. All of the boring characters that didn’t work in prior seasons are dead, there are no boring subplots and the plot moves. This is welcome after the first two seasons of world building with slow plot, and a terrible third season with the new show runner that seems to exist only to subvert and/or retcon the first two seasons.

A new faction is introduced, the black communist resistance (BCR). But these black resisters read Karl Marx, obsess over the holocaust, demand their own ethnostate, and commit violence like a cross between late 19th century European anarchist terrorists and modern color revolutions. There’s little other than skin color and musical cues that identifies these people as African American. I think this faction is supposed to represent Jews. Their plan to assassinate Japanese leaders because Germany was Evil is very Jewish.

All of the major characters conclude their dramatic arcs, but the afterwards denouement is stupid.

Nonetheless, season 4 is recommended to people who were able to get past the slog of season 3. The series as a whole comes recommended with the reservation that the plot doesn’t move fast in the first three seasons and that season 3 mostly sucks.

Al Pacino Leads a Band of Anti-Nazi Vigilantes in First Trailer for Jordan Peele’s ‘Hunters’

Executive produced by Academy Award-winning director Jordan Peele and starring Al Pacino, a new teaser trailer for “Hunters” on Amazon Prime Video has dropped.

Set in New York City in 1977, the show follows a band of Nazi hunters who have discovered hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials are living among us and planning a Fourth Reich in the U.S. The Hunters, as they’re known, set out on a violent quest to bring the Nazis to justice and stop their genocidal plans. The trailer shows several of their members stab, shoot and blow up Nazis around town.

“There comes a time where we all must choose between the light and the darkness. But when there’s great darkness in this world, perhaps a choice is made for us,” Pacino monologues in the trailer. “For eons, people like us have been degraded and exterminated, but no more. There is evil among us and you must remember, this evil starts with but a spot inside of them. Then it grows to a stain. Then it becomes a scourge. And we can’t know such evil until it strikes. So the time to act is now before everything we hold dear to us is destroyed. This is not murder. This is mitzvah. Welcome to the hunt.”

The cast includes Logan Lerman, Jerrika Hinton, Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, Tiffany Boone, Greg Austin, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Dylan Baker and Lena Olin.

Created by David Weil, “Hunters” is produced by Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Sonar Entertainment. Weil and Nikki Toscano serve as executive producers and showrunners, and Alfonso Gomez-Rejon (“American Horror Story”) directed the pilot.

“Hunters” comes to Amazon Prime Video in 2020.
Oh boy, I can't wait for this one.

:facepalm3:

This is not murder. This is mitzvah.

< Executive Producer pro race-grevience monger Jordan Peele who somehow found a way to re-creative evil Nazis in the middle of the US and unite all POCs and Jews under the banner of the Holocoust against those evil evil Whities.

Cannot get clearer than - we hate you and want you all dead goys, now our useful blacks and Asians help us do it!

I can recommend the first season of "Fortitude" as worth a watch. Fortitude is a fictional research and mining community located in Arctic Norway and the northernmost town in the world. It has inhabitants from many parts of the world (population of 713 inhabitants and 4 police officers).

While it does have some SJW elements (primarily a love affair between a black Brit and a white Spanish woman, which seems ubiquitous on British TV these days), it also has all citizens carrying rifles on their backs while walking, including children, as protection from the local polar bear population. Many rowdy miners acting like men. The show involves two separate mysteries: a murder mystery and a horror element mystery. It is worth a watch.

I just learned that they brought on board Dennis Quaid for season two.

Hollywood is so much to the left, that when they did a Jack Ryan series about Venezuela they made the president out to be some kind of right-wing nationalist one:

Obviously socialism/marxism can never be called out - since we all know that they just haven't done it correctly.

They got a new Below Deck, but it's not like the other Below Decks it's on a big sailboat!

Lets see what happens.

Aloha!

I mentioned this in the Forum Lounge but I think it bears repeating in the TV series thread.

Rob McElhenney's new show "Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet" is not very good. Ubisoft approached him with the show concept and offered to pay for lots of stuff, so the concept didn't come from his writing talent to begin with and his lack of real care for the product seems obvious in how un-funny it is.

BUT...

There's an episode in the season, almost totally irrelevant to the rest of the show and with different characters, called "A Dark Quiet Death" that is the single best half-hour of TV I can remember having seen. It's the kind of writing that you almost never see anymore, in which every aspect of the piece is in perfect harmony with every other aspect. Poe was the first to define the short story and insisted on the unity of the piece, that everything should be intentional and have a reason for being in it - and that one episode of Mythic Quest is basically an excellent short story in TV form.

The Andy Griffith Show (1960-68) was an entertaining heritage-America show. Small towns used to have these local sheriffs who would keep an eye on things, and you only needed a sparse force because there was little crime.

^ Don Knotts was hysterical as Barney Fife. Mr. Ferley was also a great character of his.

He reminded me a bit of Ed Wynn, who incidentally was in a Twilight Zone episode I saw several months ago about death, dying and bargaining. It was a really solid episode and a great series.

The Wild, Wild West was an American Classic from the 60s and 70s, too.

Amazon have come out with 'Hunters- Red Band', Jewish revenge porn. Not surprisingly it is getting ratio'd.

A diverse band of Nazi hunters living in 1977 New York City discover hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials are conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the U.S. The eclectic team will set out on a bloody quest to bring them to justice.

The usual anti-White anti-Western bullshit drivel. Conspiring to create a fourth reich in the US - right .... that's pure Judeo-mental-porn.

Most so-called Nazis who came the US were either scientists or former nondescript soldiers. The number of those who actually had some real say or did real atrocious acts are few and far in between. Even the bloody SS conscripts back in the day did not know exactly what they signed up to do - they thought that it was just an elite unit of the Wehrmacht. Everything else is Hollywood/ADL propaganda, but this does not surprise me - the Holocoust and slavery are the negative founding myths of the West - all destructive of course and all highly blown out of proportion.

Let us see a movie hunting down the Bolshevik genociders - Jews who roamed the Russian and Ukrainian countryside massacring brutally the local Slavs. Let us show the Muslim slave trade, the millions of castrations and the slavery that lasted up until the 1960s! Nah - better focus on Western oikophobia.

Though I would not put the blame fully on the tribe as well, since this kind of thing happened in other cultures before, just not to that extent and speed:

Did anyone here ever check out Amazon’s “The Boys?”

tcrNsIaQkb4

A gritty take on superheroes where the super humans are corrupt and cause a lot of collateral damage with their “heroic” antics. Looks pretty cool from the trailer, got good reviews from audiences but figured I’d throw it out here if anyone has any opinion on it
