All I can really say is that the Soviet Union is the model of what is happening to the West right now. A big part of what kept the Soviet Union running was the normies that went along with the system. The compliance of the masses is what utterly screws the non-compliant. You can stand on your roof and yell all you want about the faxxine, but the normies won't listen. That's why they're normies. They're normies because they just comply with the prevailing power structure, no matter how demonic it gets. Even the BLM riots were just "normal" to them because CNN told them it was. CNN told them that men chopping off their genitals and women sewing on dangling pieces of flesh is normal, so they believe it.

Even though 30 years ago, they would have been up in arms about it..... but again, that is because those things had not become "normalized" 30 years ago. The normie has no real principle. The normie is only concerned with not rocking the boat.

The normies aren't fixing this. If anybody is going to fix it, it's going to have to be us.

Not true. Soviet society as it comes to morals was much more Christian in practice then any so called free wolrd back then, not even mentioning now. 90 % of women were virgin before marriage, people reading books like mad, best free education and healthcare, sports etc in the world available to all, including rednecks in the villages. Ok it was anti Christian and that's definitely not good but not even comparable to the west today. And there was brainwashing, but only on certain subjects. Everyday life was quite free and safe.

Really sick of these home-grown Soviet experts which trigger like a robot to 'socialism' keyword and think it's the same as modern globohomo socialists. Misinformation.

I don't think so.

The fact that the Orthodox Church had to figure out how to deal with the abortion issue as primary means of birth control doesn't exactly align with the whole "it's just Western propoganda muh virgin Russian peasant girl narrative and Soviets weren't so bad schtick"

If you were connected or part of the party life was good. If you weren't life was challenging to say the least.

I'm sick of these Soviet apologists. It's equally disingenuous to present that this is worse when very few of us are going through anything like what went on in the red army take over/open murders of priests/Kulaks/non party members ECT.

On one hand you say it was anti-Christian and on the other hand you say it was more Christian in practice.

Isn't that a contradiction?

Are you even from a post-soviet country? Believe me, if you just read some gulag archipelago and think you understand something about life in Soviet Union you simply have no idea what you are talking about.

Nope I am an American. Where are you from?

My mother's side is Ukrainian. That's where I get my opinion from along with other sources of people whom have communicated their experiences.

I have family that is Georgian (married into my Dad's side) who said Soviet society was great...they were communists and part of the party.

Interesting, you can't DEPART Canada without the vaxx. Most restrictions are against entering while unvaxxed (refugee exemptions, of course).

Is that some virtue signaling twist by Canada? I could see Trudeaux saying: "We are such good neighbors that we prevent the unvaxxed from leaving here and spreading their germs elsewhere."

So is Canada now the West's designated holding area for unvaxxed being banished to the hinterlands?

Edit: grabbed the wrong tweet from above.

My guess is that the government knows that they likely can’t stop Canadians from returning to Canada, vaccinated or not, due to how are ‘charter rights’ are written. Challenges would hold up. Or it could have more to do with the 500, 000 migrants that the gov wants to bring in per year.

I hope so, I'd like to be able to return to see family and grind for some cash.

@Easy_C My thoughts as well. Keep your friends close and enemies closer.

That's not coercive or anything. It's so great that we can make personal medical choices without our lives being ruined. What a fantastic, sympathetic and understanding world full of freedom and liberty that we live in.

But think how many lives would be lost if he stepped onto that basketball court. Especially as a PG, he literally would be assisting in death by passing the basketball with his covid covered hands.
