Thats heavy duty stuff right there. I was not in america at the time and can't recall that. That was like the perfect storm of overriding the constitution and no one except the two ponytail dudes seemed to give a crap. You've got

1. Overriding property rights by kicking people out of their own residences
2. Seizing firearms, which is a double whammy combined with #1
3. Overriding religious freedoms by breaking into a church and using it as a base of operations. Even more ironic about this one is that the church commander's last name is Bible.

It looks like the rule/case has already been established that by declaring a state of emergency the government is fine with overriding the constitution. These guys were clearing private residences, inside of the USA with weapons drawn. The goal being to evict owners an seize their weapons.

They don't have to be.

The problem with the Right is that they couch their cowardice in purity spiraling. So the well-meaning idiots will head out and quite possibly suffer the fates reserved for well meaning idiots. Then, everyone else on the Right will decide "those people weren't really our friends and compatriots because we are not friends and compatriots with idiots, no matter how well meaning they are".

Hence they will have constructed a reasonable premise not to retaliate in kind and the cycle will continue, just as it did after the unite the Right rally which allowed the so-called Right to disavow at least seven or eight flavours of patriotic nationalists and turn a blind eye while they were sentenced for non-crimes to enough years in prison to make a Chinese party member blink twice.

I've watched the walk-in for this mentality kicking into third gear over the course of the last few weeks. "Those people are going to get what they deserve for being so stupid" is a pretty common theme on the Right wing blogosphere.

Over time the entire Right is going to "get what they deserve" while the rest concoct whatever trite premise they require to cut loose another few thousand fellow nationalists. Eventually when non-compliance fines for failing to hand in firearms or invite a search result in large numbers of people losing their homes and jobs then the few remaining "patriots" will say "those idiots didn't get their guns on the sly? Well now they're getting what they deserve. You think I'm going to stick my neck out for a bunch of idiots?"

Meanwhile governor Northam doesn't strike me in the least as a man with a vision or the gumption to have orchestrated this play. He's a textbook puppet who's no doubt been promised a lot of nice things by his masters in return for being the face of this test run. And make no mistake, this is a test run. They're going to see just how much resistance gets put up against these measures. That's all they care about. The guns don't scare them at all. They only want to know how much fight is left in the herd so they're singling out one beast and seeing how weak it is.

If I was the Lord of Chaos myself, I would be literally laughing my ass off reading all of the comments that various groups are posting all over the Internet and in real life. I also personally find it all so humorous that everyone is projecting their fears into what could be happening tomorrow and it has not even started yet. This is how I see all the groups perceiving things for tomorrow's events:

1) The Alt-Lite: The Boomers and we are gonna save this country and all (and Trump is gonna have our back, and (((they))) will magically get rid of their renegades and magically let us live normal lives again)
2) The Alt-Right: Well, we wanted a civil war, we are going to get one (and bring cameras to showcase the events), and we actually are like prepped and stuff
3) Boomer-Right: We are gonna march down there in Richmond with our guns and mowers drinking Monster, show our Oathkeeper patches (and Punisher skull memes and wave Don't Tread on Me flags), let those spoiled Millennials and crooked politicians and George Soros know that as long as we are still alive, we will vote our way out of this and when all is said and done, we will all go back home driving our mowers
4) The Ctrl-Left (current Democrats): Well, we finally have an opportunity to snooker the normies into letting us turn them into our slaves (for profits and all that New World Order stuff that is). All we have to do is follow the Charlottesville plan. There is no way it won't work this time, the Deep State, (((them))), the Black Nobility, the Illuminati, the demons we sacrifice little kids to, the aliens, etc. are not gonna let us fail even though we are drunk and high 90% of the time
5) The Commie Progs: We got a plan and our handlers are not gonna throw us under the bus (yet). We got Communism, we got Antifa, we got the Deep State, we got the government, we are gonna get our revolution this time (even if we are gonna burn shit down and sacrifice more things to Satan)
6) (((Them))): We got the goyim this time
7) Corrupt Law Enforcement and Corrupt Feds: Just doing my job harassing and beating up people for my paycheck, pension and getting that cute chick's attention. They won't come after our guns, who will protect the politicians if they suddenly do?

Aurini had a YT channel and a bunch of "followers" which is a post-modern term meaning "regular viewers". Once the lordlets of YT made life hard for Aurini, rather than having his back his "followers" simply migrated to other channels that they could view easily via the YT app and premised their migration around not liking Aurini anymore.

This is what the dissident Right boils down to in great numbers. Millions of disgruntled whiners who, despite their anger, will never sacrifice so much as an ounce of comfort for a pound of change. No matter how hard they thump their chests, at the end of the day there will always be an excuse to cut loose today's sacrificial lamb to the Left "because he's/they're not really one of us anyway".

Never associate with such people much less trust them to come through for you when the going gets even the slightest bit tough. For all the yakkity-yak about brotherhood both here and elsewhere among the Right I suspect most of these people have never even had brothers and are thus reduced to larping what they imagine it to be (which amounts to "complaining about the same stuff as me while never compromising my safe space").

Aurini learned this unfortunate truth in a very sudden and ugly way, and although he's glad to have had the veil lifted from his eyes it's still a very bitter lesson. Better to focus on the one or two local guys whose doorsteps you can turn up on and vice versa. The gubmint ain't afraid of a ten-thousand strong bunch of fairweather Facebook friends. They're worried about a closed loop of three or four guys who all seem to leave their cellphones at home for several hours every Tuesday night.

They do, they also get overtime. I worked accounting for a similar sized demonstration that lasted for about 2 weeks in another state. This is how you buy a new boat or ATV when you work in law enforcement.

In the other state, the end result was....nothing. The laws they were protesting stayed on the books, there was a recall of the governor which failed to pass a statewide vote.

8 years later and there is now a democratic governor, who was heavily involved in the protests in his former position. Do you think his first act of office upon re-election was trying to reverse that law from 8 years prior? Nope.
