After all the shit Rick & Co. went through it seems out of character to bitch out.

Rick isn't bitching out, just being patient and waiting for the right moment. He wants the others to play along so nobody does anything stupid and gets themselves killed. Think about it for a moment: he just lost one of his most capable fighters in Abe and two of his right-hand men in Glenn and Daryl. They are outnumbered right now, the Hilltop is kind of useless except for Jesus, Carol and Morgan aren't around, so the future relationship with the Kingdom will be crucial for the rebellion. Don't worry, the writers are setting up for some major fireworks.

Just watched the first episode of the new season... That was rough. Watching the second beating was "The Red Wedding" levels of shock value.

I'd have stopped watching the show if Negan would have made Rick lop the arm off.

I am not enjoying this series, too much non productive brutality, humiliation and blah blah rubbing it in.

Ok writers, we get the drift, now can we have some story progression please?

I wasn't a big fan of "The Walking Dead" at first, but the show has a way of growing on you. It isn't about instant gratification, that's for sure. It's more of what I like to call a "slow burner." It takes a long time to get where it's going, but usually by the time it gets there (typically at the end of the season), it's worth the wait.

Agreed 100%. It's going nowhere, it's just over the top violence with no real progression. I'm tired of it.

This is getting tedious.

I understand they attempt to weave all these story lines but its just getting so disparate and discombobulated that I don't care much.

She has gained some weight which doesn't make sense if she had no food in the show. But dem titties. She is a butter face, but there was a lot of bounce in this episode.

To quote Negan a couple episodes ago:

"..I can't be the only one to notice that you got a fat lady in charge of keeping rations, can I?"

The actress who played Tara was pregnant, she recently gave birth a few weeks ago. That's why she's a bit fatter than usual compared to the other seasons. The actress who played Sasha was pregnant on the show too last year, but they did a better job hiding it and she didn't gain much weight in the face despite being a bit older. Would definitely bang Sasha. Would not bang Tara.

This is getting annoying now. I get the need for exposition but this episode did nothing to advance the plot. Tara's jiggly titties are a shitty consolation prize for waisting 42 minutes of my life.

Rick and Co. are really fucked since the only people with guns who aren't Saviors are bunch of butch women with the aim of Stormtroopers. I'm still going to watch because something relevant to the war with Saviors has gotta happen before the mid-season break, right?

Tara hasn't had this much dialogue since her Season 3 debut and I understand why: Tara's character really shines when she's just a name in the credits and you don't notice that she's actually there.

No one who isn't a season one character, or Paul Rovier, is interesting enough to merit a solo episode.

Agree on the WNB for Tara. But Sasha? Meh. The only decent looking lizard left is Rosita but I like Latina with more ass than her though.

So I've been watching "Fear of the Walking Dead" recently and man..... what a fucking waste of a show. I think the fact the setting is in California is perfect for this shitty show. There is only one white guy on the show, it seems affirmative action played a major role in casting. All the male characters are little beta bitches... one of the strongest characters is a woman. So later in the show comes in a new character that I actually like.... fast forward to season two an it ends up hes fucking gay.

The show had potential... I like the fact it shows how things go from normal to zombie Apocalypse. But the cast is so whiny and wimpy and theres no reason to get invested in any of them.

If Fear the Walking Dead didn't have "Walking Dead" in its title, it would have been cancelled by now.

It's almost as if the writers said, "We've got some terrible characters, let's think of every way possible to make them worse. On top of that, let's think up the worst possible decisions to be made and come up with even worse decisions for the characters to make."

Ughh.
I haven't watched FOTWD, yet in similar serialized dramas or other zombie movies. There is nothing I dislike more than characters actively doing stupid shite. Just to advance the plot.

I have been reading the comic on which the Walking Dead was based at.

Even there they added some feminism, because feelings, but in reality it was kept at a minimum.

The TV show creators however strayed ever more into the SJW-feminism territory.

---------------------

Currently it is no longer watchable - they have created 2 tribes in the The Walking Dead that are dominated solely by super-powerful strong independent women. One tribe in the scrapyard they even made them into some weird SJWs that are of course fantastically led by weak women, because we all know that women would lead in post-apocalyptico. The reality would be a number of Negans with the occasional Rick sprinkled in.

In addition they have actually created their best warrior a 50+ woman - she is their biggest baddest killer and she isn't even in the comics or gets killed off early as far as I can remember:

Maybe they kill off Rick in the show and put her in charge later on.

------------------

As for the Fear of the Walking Dead - that show is even worse on more levels. They cucked for the Mexicans making it appear as if Mexicans will be creating a viable alternative system much faster than those barbaric Whites. Also the show created multiple characters who became suddenly crazy at the same time! IN addition they have terrible asshole-shitty characters - they managed to make most of them unlikeable in varying degrees.

So it is a wonderful mixture of Mexican supremacism coupled with feminism, SJW-themes and terrible terrible writing.

---------------------
The success of the series is based on the comic writer and his ideas. If they swerve more from the original then they will lose the series altogether. It could theoretically run forever, but probably won't as they pull out more crap out of the ass. I expect them to start with transgender characters soon enough.

Most TV shows are now becoming unwatchable.

I gave up on the show part way through Season 5.

The characters just got dumber and dumber and dumber. Some kind of dietary deficiency perhaps, or a result of the virus in everyone's system. I ended up spending every episode minute by minute shouting "why don't you just..."

I seem to recall one episode where they were straggling along, exhausted, struggling to stay ahead of the zombies behind them in a sort of gruesome marathon. And I'm thinking "where did all the fucking bicycles go, or are you dumbasses too tough to stoop to that?"

The trouble is that the series, like a lot of other successful franchises, almost immediately fell prey to simple bean-counting. The studio execs obviously reasoned "we have a successful franchise here, and a certain number of people are going to watch it regardless of whether we simply re-package the same season over and over again, so let's not bother spending any money on decent sets and shit like that when we can just have them running around the forest for 15 God-damned seasons."

No zombie movie is logical of course - a slow-moving zombie movie even less than a fast moving one.

And the reason for this is the ultimate anti-zombie weapon that every raggady military has to the eyeballs:

4 of those trucks can mow down thousands of zombies in minutes. Even fast-moving zombies would be cut to bits.

Even WWI machine guns would cut down the hordes in a jiffy:

All Zombie movies play in alternate universes where the cavalry would reign supreme. If you cannot stop a mindless zombie crowd then you certainly cannot stop a fast moving cavalry charge.

This is about the stage of military level in the Walking Dead Universe:

Those guys would reign supreme. In fact the Walking Dead comic creator brought back the cavalry in his world and no surpise - that is what they do - mostly single shot guns and cavalry. Only that level of tech could be overrun by zombies.

Honestly with slow zombies a few guys with pikes or longish spears on the roof of a house could kill an enormous amount of them.

But I still love zombie apocalypse stuff.
