Layer upon layer of clown world. Obviously she got upset when it was time to promote and elevate 'Jamaal' and 'Shanika' for the optics. Perhaps now she can see what the agenda truly is. Hurts when you are no longer the chosen one ... But muh diversity!
Yep, no sympathy from me either. Diversity got her a job and that means she got it over a white male. The system is so slanted now that she's got it all on easy mode, while us inferior men have to play advanced-hard-impossible mode. At that time I'm sure she relished in her appointment not thinking once about the advantages she had to get there nor what it did to the men who she displaced. My reaction is deadpan back at her; how does it feel? How does it feel to see someone less qualified get ahead?
I keep thinking about Al Pacino's locker room speech in "Any Given Sunday". Life is a game of inches, he said. Indeed it is. In general and most definitely when you're in a competitive space. Personally, I've always gone for competitive things in life. To see affirmative action at work in such domains is repugnant, because, it's all about inches. If you give an individual even a small tilt or toe on the scale that equates to inches, in fact, I suspect many inches. In highly competitive arenas it might seem there's disparities between competitors, but, relative to the broader population the distinctions are negligible - it is inches that separate us. Affirmative action gives inches, feet, and yards if necessary to induce a predetermined outcome.
This will make all the difference and it does.
Having some kind of "authority" tell you it is "moral" for diversity because of istsismsphobia and then to give extra yards of support and preferential treatment to white women is hard to accept. They're not disadvantaged per the spirit of the original intent back in the 1960s when this was first rolled out. Instead its extremely privileged people, white women, who are, in fact, the most privileged people in all of history that have historically benefitted most from affirmative action. If this is the vector we're on for now, then, I support more diversity to displace white women.
They need to eat their own dogfood or take their own medicine. I'm pleased to hear white women lament about being displaced or seeing under qualified individuals get ahead.
