The YouTube thread

We should welcome alt light stars like PJW moving to Bitchute as it will also migrate funds. At the moment the UX is still severely lacking and new money being injected means they'll invest in that and become a genuine rival to YouTube.

There is no migration of funding. A true dissident right allowing platform would have to get the funding like Alex Jones infowars - niche independent companies and private donations.

You will never ever get a platform that will get corporate globalist funding. That is what Youtube and all the official platforms are all about. You can be more right-leaning but you better shut up about it - PewDiePie got his lesson and stays far away from politics - even minor jokes about rape in Sweden are a no-go. You are a good boi or you get zero funding.

Reddit has also switched to squashing bitchute, it is now on the site wide spam filter. An admin confirmed but did not state why

Note they have their own internal hosting of photos and videos, which provides them an additional monetary incentive to blocking bitchute to go along with blocking it on ideology grounds

If more money was put into bitchute, it might actually be a functional website where the videos don't get stuck on "processing" forever and their import tool from youtube actually works.

Combined with crypto it has the potential to truly be the splinter that drives the beast insane.

The urls have already been banned in Australia since Christchurch and you have to access them through TOR or a VPN. When the elites have their hands forced on this in the US then we can at least lay the whole free speech nonsense to rest and simply begin to operate on the assumption that we are a peoples occupied by a hostile foreign force.

The fact that Bitchute will not embed on forums like this is a major ball ache. Sorting this out should be a top priority.

It would be a game changer. Internet culture begins on forums, which then feeds into mainstream culture. Pepe/Kek, game, 'red pill' would be some notable examples. Bitchute is horrible right now in terms of UX but with growth those issues would be swiftly resolved.

The unsaid assumption is that 9 year olds should have youtube profiles, which means they should have unsupervised access to youtube.

The eerie thing about this post and especially the comments is you realize parents have completely given up on the idea that controlling what content the child has access to is the parent's job.

Instead, it is assumed that it is youtube's job, or the collective internet's job - as in past generations it was TV programming's job.

Even for those parents who take the time to create a youtube profile themselves, and filter out suggestions they don't approve, the child is still free to roam and most likely knows or learns very fast how to remove the filters. They have to know this. So parents have abandoned the idea in practice, even if in theory they do not - by trying to filter out youtube suggestions for example, as if they were selecting only certain books for the child to read and putting the naughty ones up on a shelf he can't reach. But on the internet, there are no out of reach shelves for children.

Unless you restrict physical access to the internet, all measures are ultimately futile. But if you even suggest that idea, and I have, people look at you like you're from Mars or as if you were going against nature itself and hacking off one of the child's limbs. Combine this attitude with the violent, the sexual and the trivial that is continuously displayed, in increasingly horrid fashion, and you psychologically traumatized entire generations of young people, some of whom never graduate from a perpetual state of arrested development.

Using the pandemic as an excuse to ramp up the removal of videos they personally don't approve of while placing blame "on the computers". How typical for YouTube :dodgy:

They even rub salt in the wound:

We know this will be hard for all of you.

Notice how they don't say all of us (including themselves), just you. They know exactly what they plan to do.

These are pretty funny, I don’t know if funny is the right word. It’s like they took the audio from some trashy talk show and added animation .

Here is one about sugar babies

^I like how she's 19 but still in high school, gets straight Cs and is failing math but wants to go to college.

They should have added at the end, "Since I'm a dedicated single mom, the college forgave my student loan debt! Now I'm debt free with a Gender Studies degree."
