The best way to fix the fat problem is not by being insulting and trying to shame them. First of all, you give up your right to call yourself a man.

You're talking about not shaming fatties, but right out the gate you engage in some seriously feminine style shaming.

I don't think anyone is suggesting spending their days off running around in public insulting random obese strangers, there's more nuance than that.

But even more importantly, or maybe just more realistically, is that shaming simply won't work. There are too many now. They can't be beat anymore, at least not that way. The single best way to effect change is through simple economics of supply and demand. As long as they continue to get dick that they're reasonably happy with, absolutely nothing else will matter.

You're talking about being realistic here, but think about how few men are willing to say NO to these girls. Obviously, an RVF member is more likely to have that sort of mindset, and have higher quality options, but it's still just a tiny fraction of the male population. There's no way a "Don't bang obese chicks" campaign is going to affect supply and demand on a large scale.

For argument's sake, let's say more men start doing that, but refrain from telling the women why they are passing them up. Then the girls just rationalize it, and continue on to the next guy. However, if these more desirable men made it clear through shaming about WHY these girls don't have a chance with them, that's when it will start to stick for a few of them. A passive campaign isn't going to suddenly turn the tide, this is more of a personal one by one type of action. Sure many girls will remain the way they are, but there are enough who would take it to heart, and perhaps hit rock bottom, that they're willing to start making changes.

And don't even get me started on the importance of shaming when it comes to our future tax dollars....

And that's why I bring up the "would you bang" thread. There are what I would assume to be guys with much better options out there than me and yet they would be willing to bang girls that I wouldn't even let touch my food before eating.

This seems like a pretty strong claim, considering you referenced some established members earlier in the thread.

Maybe post up some pics or data sheets on the models you're rocking.

Please. Having an opinion that you don't agree with or that makes you look bad is not an attempt at feminist style shaming. I'm saying that a man with dignity and self-respect would not go around trying to shit on everyone around him. James Bond is a fictional character, ok, but if he were real, could you imagine him yelling out "fatty!" at a passing cow? No. Name me one character, real or fictional, that you admire, that saying something like this would be consistent with him personality. Name one. (By the way, yes, at least one guy on the thread DID suggest going around and yelling out "fatty!", which is insulting random strangers. Maybe he was joking and wouldn't have the balls to do it himself, but I'll betcha deep down inside he believes it would work. And worse is that some guy reading that might have the balls to do it, thinking it's funny or makes him the man or whatever and actually go out and do it.)

As to your other points, yes, partly what I'm saying is that the US is too far gone now. You'll never get enough guys to withhold dick, true, but you'll also never get enough guys to go around making fat chicks feel like shit about themselves. These two tactics are unemployable now. But if they were possible and you could only choose one, withholding dick would be far, far more effective.

I'd agree that if women couldn't get dick all of a sudden and had no idea why then they wouldn't lose weight. But let's be real. They know they're fat and deep down, they know they are not their most attractive. The diet industry is not as big as it is because people feel sexy at 180lbs. They know. They just don't care because they can still get guys to give 'em some dick (and they somehow believe that that means they're desirable. LOL) Also, you're putting words in my mouth. I didn't say that a guy should pretend he likes whales. There's no need for that. I'm simply saying that "shaming", insulting or being hurtful, wouldn't work. (And I concede that a "don't bang fat chicks" campaign would be just as hard to get off the ground and therefore neither are really realistic.) But if we just imagine for a moment two scenarios. One where 90% of men are being hurtful and insulting to fat chicks and one where 90% just stop fucking them all. They would both work to some extent, but the second would work much better. When fat chicks realize that the only chicks getting dick are thin and look good, they'll get with the program.

And to your last statement... you're presenting a false dichotomy. That since I am not banging trashy cows, I must be claiming to be banging models. I did no such thing. I never pretended to, so don't try to make it sound like I did. I've banged attractive girls and not-so-attractive girls. But nothing that comes close to some of the dumpster-diving crack whores in that thread that some guys say they'd bang. There are plenty of pics on that thread that NO guy on this forum should ever bang even if his last lay was two years ago, simply out of principle.

I don't complain about muscular privilege, I make up for my lack of muscles by working out 5 days a week and eating a ton of protein. That's the key difference between most guys in this forum and most people in the real world - we accept our shortcomings and become better men. Most other people spend their whole day complaining about Facebook and their dead-end jobs instead of actively working to improve themselves and their situations. We don't.
