Tiger Woods bitched the entire golf field. If that isn't alpha. Then there aren't any in Golf.

But he is a nerd with women. If she is telling you from the jump that it would cost 350 mil. Why would you go back with her. She is just a gold digger and he is a fool.

you don't have to be the best at a sport to be alpha, in fact a lot of the time those players who are best at those sports are not really alpha.

The Ryder Cup might actually be a good example in Woods case, a contest where those with the best leadership and social skills come out on top, Woods with the calibre of player he is should have been leading that US team in all those cup's he competed in, but he's been a wimp at each and every single one. 6 losses in 7 contests and not a peep from the Tiger, whilst every single time there's a European golfer who absolutely dominates the 4 days. Ian Poulter being the one who's costantly derided for his clothing but he lifted his whole team by his ice cold demeanour on the course. “I think the Ryder Cup should build a statue to him,” said captain José María Olazábal after the event. He even goaded Americans about baseball, the guy does not give a shit, “It bores me tearless,” he told a press conference this week. “You want to sit there for 4½ hours eating hot dogs ...? Come on, really?”

Man golfers are wimps, what am i saying.

I dunno. I remember reading magazine profiles back when Tiger was just getting his start that hinted at him being a chaser. And then during his Superman phase, I always had faith he was more of a dog than his squeaky-clean branding let on.

Before we rake him over the coals, keep in mind the dude's life has fallen off in more ways than one. There was a time when if you were laying money on golf, you'd pick Tiger over a field of the next best 150 golfers in the world. Now, he hasn't won a major since 2008. I can imagine how that kind of collapse would make a guy wish for what he used to have.

Now I'm not saying he should take her back... but I understand.

According to the National Enquirer, Woods wants to remarry Nordegren

Let's not jump to conclusions just yet.

The National Enquirer is a legit investigative paper. They've won pulitzers for their reporting.

In between the "so and so is an alien" stories, yes, they do break some pretty big stories. The mainstream media often piggyback's their work to see where it's going, then jump in after they break it just in case it's bullshit.

Just because you're good at a sport that don't mean you're automatically going to be good with women. This is where this "I thought he was alpha" mythology really falls apart, and why guys gotta stop thinking like that. "Alpha," in other words isn't interchangeable with good-at-something. The term has been rendered meaningless. There are tough guys who are pussies around their wives. There are rich guys who are basically p4p'ers 100 percent of the time. And, there are pro athletes and famous actors who do this kind of cringe-worthy, public stunt.

This "alpha" labeling based on mere success is bullshit. Alpha is a state of mind deep in the psyche, you can't diagnose it just by seeing a guy's ATM receipt.

I agree. There are some guys who are physically very dangerous men and even psychologically dangerous but suckas every time around women.
And there are guys who are also sensational around women but absolute dweebs in every other aspect of life.

The thing is, in this day and era, you can't bash a lizard over the head when you want sex. That is what alphas did back in the day. They sorted out disputes with intimidation. They gained territory, land and acquired women by force. With the systems in place nowadays, one has to adopt a different approach to women. The style to be adopted when going against women is not the same approach that one uses to be successful in other areas.
Because of this, some men are either unable or unwilling to switch strategies to be successful in BOTH fields. That's why the alpha label is a weird one.
Mike Tyson for instance, had his wife smashed by Brad Pitt. But how many of you guys in here claim Mike Tyson is LESS alpha than Brad?

Mike Tyson is no alpha and never was. His demeanour and talk outside of the ring really showed an omega side, I remember a discussion on twitter involving a few bloggers around this.

If you understand who/what Tiger really is, this shouldn't surprise you one bit. The man is at once a simp and mark. If alpha is a state of mind, then Tiger is incurably, truly, hopelessly beta. My thoughts on Tiger on Rollo Tomassi's "Generation AFC" post:

http://rationalmale.wordpress.com/2012/05/02/generation-afc/

"I remember watching the Tiger Woods saga unfold and coming to terms with how beta/AFC the guy really was—despite his talent, wealth, harem and high-status. His let his wife beat his ass with one of his own golf clubs and then proclaimed his natural male sexual urges to be an addiction and checked into rehab. He then permitted his wife to bully him into renegotiating their pre-nup on terms much more favorable to her on the pretext of working out their marriage…only for her to divorce him shortly thereafter and abscond with his children and a fair portion of his wealth. He continued to publicly flog himself for sometime thereafter.

It’s truly amazing. Alpha really isn’t about your status—it’s a mindset. It’s an inherent belief in the necessity, righteousness and beauty of maleness. If you haven’t embraced your masculinity and thrown off the shackles of the gynocracy that seeks to poison and destroy your manhood, then it doesn’t matter how accomplished, high-status, wealthy and famous you are. You really are just another chump."

"I don’t mean “beta” in the sense of attracting women. I mean it in the sense that his reaction to the crisis in his personal life demonstrated his willingness to devalue himself relative to his wife, to his personal detriment.

Every action Tiger took demonstrated lower value. He permitted his wife to beat his ass with the very instrument he used to secure his wealth and status. Rather than using the threat of DV charges to quickly dispose of the woman according to the (apparently enforceable) pre-nup, he permitted her to beaugard him into renegotiating the document to be more favorable to her. This done, she quickly divorced him and absconded with his children and property. During this time, he apologized to any reporter who would listen and held a press conference tearfully proclaiming his maleness to be a patholgical sickness curable only by residence at a 60K Mississippi treatment clinic. Through and through, that’s the behavior of man who is thoroughly repudiating his own value.

What’s important to remember about Tiger is that he’s a beta chump at heart who was thrust into an alpha’s life by dint of his talent and physical skill set. The guy was nerd and a beta his entire life and basically woke up one morning to fame, wealth and hos. Yes, he leaned to talk the talk and fuck the fuck. But he never shed the beta thought processes that had defined his mindset up until that point, and so reverted to it at the first sign of true & sustained psychosexual adversity."

"One of the most enlightening ideas–for me, at least—to come out of this blog is the concept of the ego investments that help keep men enthralled to the gynocentric imperative. That the imperative—the Matrix—exists can be readily deduced once one has taken the red pill…but the realization that male pride has been co-opted to serve the imperative (even as compensating benefits have been eradicated for men) is truly eye-opening and subversive.

In the manosphere much is made of the difference between alphas & betas, sexual haves and have-nots. At the root of this is the core truth that alphas are defined much less by their gender membership, than by their high-status relative to other men (which is part of why feminist arguments about male privilege fall flat, but that’s another topic). The pervasive phenomenon of male ego investments slaved to gynocentrism is one of few places where many alphas & betas are in the exact same place. Whether we’re talking about wealthy, famous men with sexual access (paper alphas, if you will) or hopelessly celibate beta drones most of their ego investments are slaved to female whims and needs.

Figuring out concrete steps to pushback against the mindset to develop what this blog calls “positive masculinity” is, I think, the next big question. Definitely something I’m thinking a lot about in my own personal journey."

Mike Tyson is an interesting study. If you know his history, growing up rough in Brooklyn, he probably fought a lot as an outlet for anger, and the feeling unloved, etc. He was RUTHLESS, knocking out old ladies for purses and shit like that. He was in and out of juvenile detention. Cus D'Amato took him away from the city and bad influences, and channeled that fighting ability into something. Even as an amateur fighter, he admitted to being afraid before fights (there's a snippet of video of him crying before a fight), but once he stepped in there all that went a way, or he channeled it into the destruction of his opponent. He also talked openly about his insecurity with regards to Robin Givens. He couldn't believe this beautiful Hollywood star wanted him, because he really felt he was dumb and ugly (Mike really is a bright guy, he's just unpolished). She used that insecurity to gank him, and when it became too humiliating he lashed out with violence - the only way he knew. Throw in Don King with Givens and her mom, they broke him down mentally and that spilled over into his preparation and desire to fight. Again, defining someone as Alpha, Beta or whatever is tricky. Mike was somewhat soft outside the ring, but don't tell me he wasn't the complete opposite inside the ring.

Also, the Brad Pitt thing Mike has been talking about was when they were in the process of divorcing. Mike was still rolling by the crib to fuck, but they were done as a couple. Robin is scandalous, so she was already seeing/banging other dudes even while still fucking Mike. Pitt didn't cuckold him at that point, but he was scared shitless when Mike showed up...HA HA!

I think we're overlooking the whole kids aspect of this. Tiger has kids with this chick, and he probably wants to have his relationship with them back. Being separated from your children, whether your alpha, beta, whatever - hurts any man who isn't a psychopath.

Even so, the fact that shes putting a 350 Million dollar contingency on it shows

1) That she has no character. c'on she aleady took him for a couple hundred mill.

2) It also shows how not alpha his personality is, and how his status was the ticket to her puss not his allure as a mate in his own right. Take away the superstar athlete element, and hes a weird balding half black/half asian dude with zero game.

I'll bet that there's no stipulation on what consequences she would pay for cheating in that agreement either.

A quote from the movie Tyson

While I m in the dressing room five minutes before I come out, I m breaking my gloves down, I m pushing the leather to the back of my gloves, so my knuckle could pierce through. When I come out I have supreme confidence. I m scared to death. I m afraid. I m afraid of everything. I m afraid of losing. I m afraid of being humiliated. But I m confident. The closer I get to the ring the more confident I get. The closer, the more confident. The closer the more confident I get. All during training I ve been afraid of this man. I think this man might be capable of beating me. I ve dreamed of him beating me. For that I ve always stayed afraid of him. The closer I get to the ring the more confident I get. Once I m in the ring I m a god. No one could beat me. I walk around the ring but I never take my eyes off my opponent. Even if he s ready and pumping, and cant wait to get his hands on me. I keep my eyes on him. I keep my eyes on him. Then once I see a chink in his armor, boom, one of his eyes may move, and then I know I have him. Then once he comes to the center of the ring he looks at me with his piercing look as if he s not afraid. But he already made that mistake when he looked down for that one tenth of a second. I know I have him. He ll fight hard for the first two or three rounds, but I know I broke his spirit. During the fight I'm supremely confident. I'm making him miss and I'm countering. I m hitting him to the body; I'm punching him real hard. And I m punching him, and I m punching him, and I know he s gonna take my punches. He goes down, he's out. I'm victorious. Mike Tyson, greatest fighter that ever lived.

Everyone gets nervous before fights. Being a fighter at the top level is one of the toughest things in the world. Training camps, preparation, diet, all that shit goes out the window if your mind isn't right.

The reason Mike Tyson doesn't celebrate after fights.

And of all the weak shit Tiger did, this was perhaps the weakest. What exactly did he pay her for? After all the other chicks told their stories, what difference could one more make? Oh...I remember. He was in love with this one...HA HA!
