Just watched episode 4, downloaded on torrents.
Again this week, the foreign brides definitely came across as more attractive and sympathetic people than the local women. And I say that even with Louis's swamp monster of an ex-wife missing from the episode.
Alan is getting some serious twitching and jealousy going on. Like in the joke:
What do a gynecologist and the pizza delivery guy have in common?
They can smell it but they can't eat it.
Seeing the poor guy like that, I can't help but think of that scene in Wayne's World where Wayne walks off the set and leaves Garth all alone on camera.
Anyway, things moving towards a conclusion. Only two more episodes remaining. I'm guessing all four couples get married as planned.

Yep, good episode. Felt a little sad for Aziza, especially during her "bachelorette" party. That event was as lame as it can get and Mike is a definite beta male. I think this show will give a bad vibe to any "devushki" who might be thinking of emigrating to USA.

I like the show but there are so many 'convenient' drama twists that it seems very scripted to me. The Brazilian girl got picked to be a model her 2nd or 3rd time out in LA (which is exactly what a frumpy, controlling, virgin mormon would fear the most). Makes for good TV. Granted she is cute but there are hundreds of hot girls walking around Venice Beach everyday. I may be overly skeptical but after meeting a chick that "wrote" for several MTV reality shows, you start to see the manufactured drama.
Not a bad show except the couples in Ohio and Indianapolis aren't very interesting. Wish there was one about a guy who comes back with a former Thai bar girl or masseuse. That would be fun to watch her trying to integrate into middle class suburban society.
How are you guys seeing the one about the gym owner guy? I've seen 4 episodes but never anything about couple.

The gym guys name was Len and I sorely miss not seeing him on the show...perhaps he realized that it might be bad publicity for his business for him to appear on the TLC show as unfortunately in f&*k!#g USA there is still a stigma about guys who go out with women half their age.
I suppose I can kind of relate, I am in my mid-30s and certainly don't have the game yet to pull an 8+ 21 year old in Washington, DC but seeing guys like Len get supermodel tale overseas gives us plenty of encouragement. I am wishing that TLC renews this show and does a season 2. I would love to see Asia (not Philippines) profiled a bit more there.

I get it now, there aren't any actual shows with Len & Alina, just previews and he got cut before the show aired. Or if he was smart he cut it because he was about to get owned. Also she was crazy jealous and he wanted to "give her everything" .... damn that had entertainment promise.
I'm not sure there is a huge stigma in the US about dating girls half your age. It seems pretty common in the bigger cities among guys that are doing pretty well. It is definitely harder to pick up a hot girl half your age in the US however. I think the real stigma is if you sit down with your close friends and ask them if you marrying a poor girl half your age is a good idea (like they did on this reality show). The problems being: asking for their permission, her being poor and from another country. Especially if that country is known for mail-order brides (russia, phils, brazil, colombia). Convenient that the show picked girls from those countries even though a few of the couples met while traveling and not online. Good for drama when the these girls have to square off against the guys mother/sister/friend/brother etc.

Yes, but hot damn is Alina hot. You generally don't find women like that in USA unless they're in some swimsuit pageant. Alan has balls though as he made the first approach in a cafe, not speaking any Russian, and approaching a 9 who was half his age. Out of all the couples he's the only Alpha. I hope Alan decides to hit up another pussy paradise like Thailand and TLC follows him for season 2. I will even pay to watch that.

Looks like the truth comes out in web-episode 6 about Len & Alina. Alina decides to go to vacation to Turkey which we all know means she found a Turkish guy there. Damn those Turks....as someone who has been to UA multiple times I can attest that they are probably the biggest competition to us "western tourists" for the local women. 2 girls I am talking to online now both have mentioned that they've been to Turkey on "vacation" and once I facebooked them noticed that they had a suspiciously high number of Turkish guy "friends". Red flags everywhere....

I will never get these guys bringing these girls home, keep them abroad if you're planning to have a relationship or just have your fun and move on but stop dragging your trash back home. There are some real honest ones out there but its just a scenario that the odds of it working out are well against you, the stories like Lens are too common. Learn to play the game or get played.

Ive noticed the same, and its funny these girls are openly quite racist about Turks. Yet theyll tell me to look at their facebook or instagram and theyll have travel pics surrounded by groups of Turkish guys and Turkish guys commenting about their pics. I usually just ignore it cause I know im not looking for anything but when I feel like being a dick I will bring up the Turks and watch them squirm trying to explain.

Just watched episode 1 - the woman from Colombia is super hot!
Although the woman from the Philippines with the Fred Flintstone lookalike is clearly no model, but when compared to his ex-wife she is defiantly an upgrade.
Note how his ex-wife who has 2 kids and is probably a 2 out of 10 in the looks department has re married a bloke who is probably a 5/6 - says everything about how bad the dating scene is for alot of men.

Alina is a classic sponsor/gold digger and Len comes across as a bit of a controlling, somewhat desperate guy (even if he does seem to be confident and not afraid to approach). The fact that he's obsessing over this girl (and not trying to game the girls at his 'women's gym') makes me think he might have just got caught up in the allure of a Ukraine girl who blows away everything he's previously been with and/or he's 'feeling the clock ticking' and rushed into this too quickly. He's lucky he didn't marry her and have her come to the US and take half his stuff cause she damn sure was leaving him within a year after arrival.
His brother seemed pretty red-pill and it was cool to see him give it to Len straight and say it's not gonna work. So many guys don't do that.
