Just an absolute control freak who marries men with no spine. Her new husband seems pretty wimpy also. Maybe she is just fantastic in bed, or something. Her arm is bigger than most people's thighs. You can tell she is insane, and I would love to see her lose her shit. That would be pretty epic, because she is unstable. But hey at least her hair is long with natural, I mean unnatural colors. Hard to look at it.
On a side note, it is weird we have not seen the 4th couple. I wonder why.
You mean 5th couple? 'Cause we already have the Russian, Philippina, the Columbian, and the Brazilian. The 5th couple would have been the Gym owner Len with his hottie Ukrainian fiancee. Damn it, if I don't see that I am downgrading this show from 4/5 to 3 stars max.![]()

Again this week, the foreign brides definitely came across as more attractive and sympathetic people than the local women. And I say that even with Louis's swamp monster of an ex-wife missing from the episode.
Alan is getting some serious twitching and jealousy going on. Like in the joke:
What do a gynecologist and the pizza delivery guy have in common?
They can smell it but they can't eat it.
Seeing the poor guy like that, I can't help but think of that scene in Wayne's World where Wayne walks off the set and leaves Garth all alone on camera.
Anyway, things moving towards a conclusion. Only two more episodes remaining. I'm guessing all four couples get married as planned.

Yep, good episode. Felt a little sad for Aziza, especially during her "bachelorette" party. That event was as lame as it can get and Mike is a definite beta male. I think this show will give a bad vibe to any "devushki" who might be thinking of emigrating to USA.
hun73r said:I like the show but there are so many 'convenient' drama twists that it seems very scripted to me. The Brazilian girl got picked to be a model her 2nd or 3rd time out in LA (which is exactly what a frumpy, controlling, virgin mormon would fear the most). Makes for good TV. Granted she is cute but there are hundreds of hot girls walking around Venice Beach everyday. I may be overly skeptical but after meeting a chick that "wrote" for several MTV reality shows, you start to see the manufactured drama.
Not a bad show except the couples in Ohio and Indianapolis aren't very interesting. Wish there was one about a guy who comes back with a former Thai bar girl or masseuse. That would be fun to watch her trying to integrate into middle class suburban society.
How are you guys seeing the one about the gym owner guy? I've seen 4 episodes but never anything about couple.
TripleG said:The gym guys name was Len and I sorely miss not seeing him on the show...perhaps he realized that it might be bad publicity for his business for him to appear on the TLC show as unfortunately in f&*k!#g USA there is still a stigma about guys who go out with women half their age.

To me shows sort of how ruthless and how transactional a woman can be. I mean it isn't devastating but you can see her indifference.
Buyer beware, he got lucky to find out before she got here.
Notice how she thinks she is the best and no remorse.

TripleG said:Looks like the truth comes out in web-episode 6 about Len & Alina. Alina decides to go to vacation to Turkey which we all know means she found a Turkish guy there. Damn those Turks....as someone who has been to UA multiple times I can attest that they are probably the biggest competition to us "western tourists" for the local women. 2 girls I am talking to online now both have mentioned that they've been to Turkey on "vacation" and once I facebooked them noticed that they had a suspiciously high number of Turkish guy "friends". Red flags everywhere....

These girls don't know how boring these towns are. The Colombiana is going to have to stay with the guy and his parents. She is upset yet she know he still lived at home. I can already tell she's going to a wild one. He should of never brought her here.
+1000.
These girls will eventually get bored out of their minds, especially if they are headed to some 2nd or 3rd tier town (or living in the suburbs of almost any city). There's just not that much to do other than watch TV, head out the to mall, Costco or CVS and/or go to restaurant and pig out & get fat. You have to be seriously disciplined in the US to stay in shape, eat healthy, and keep yourself busy, particularly in suburbia. Plus, these girls will have very high expectations of life in the US and how glamorous it will be, which will quickly be shattered after just a few weeks/months of living here.
Most regions in America are pretty parochial too. And most Americans are woefully uninformed about international affairs, cultures and most things outside the US (outside the coastal cities like NYC/LA and maybe Miami I'd say). So I think these women will become disenchanted and feel like they were fed a bunch of lies about how great the US is (which they sort of were), in addition to getting bored with their lives. Having a kid might help keep them busy for a few years, but inevitably the malaise will set in.
Hell I get bored pretty quickly just after a couple weeks back home, even with the NFL playoffs going on))
On another note, it's funny but when I took a good hard look at all the women I'd say all four of them could be Russian or from the CIS, such is the ethnic diversity and makeup here....even the Filipina.
Midlands Man said:For those in the UK with sky TV, this show is now available via on demand on the TLC channel, called 90 Days to Wed.
Just watched episode 1 - the woman from Colombia is super hot!
Although the woman from the Philippines with the Fred Flintstone lookalike is clearly no model, but when compared to his ex-wife she is defiantly an upgrade.
Note how his ex-wife who has 2 kids and is probably a 2 out of 10 in the looks department has re married a bloke who is probably a 5/6 - says everything about how bad the dating scene is for alot of men.
Good luck to them all.
