“Listen Elizabeth, this is the President!” Sizemore recalls. “‘I don’t have any time for this ****. I‘m keeping the world from nuclear war all the time. I’m sending a plane to pick you up.”

Can this really be called game? To me it just looks like power. And sure you can say that they're related or they're the same thing, but it's not applicable at all to the average joe. It's like the Charlie Sheen quote about paying hookers to leave, if a normal guy tries to say that it breaks down.

This is really interesting. Someone surreptitiously recorded actor Tom Sizemore, who once dated Elizabeth Hurley, recounting the time that Bill Clinton basically forced Sizemore to turn over Hurley's number to him in the Lincoln Bedroom, and Clinton called her on the spot and told her he was sending a plane to get her.

Listen to it on this page.

Since this recording was released, Sizemore has come forward claiming he made it all up. But given the amount of detail, and the ease with which he recounted it, and Clinton's general reputation ... I call bullshit on Sizemore's denial.

I also found some of the little details funny ... like the Secret Service agent "Kyle" joking how his duties also include those of a "pimp."

Another interesting thing is Sizemore's observation that women are so entranced with Clinton that none of them ever rat him out.

^ Don't think the hamster applies here. Hamstering is a sub/unconscious rationalization for motives that are not comprehended. She's well aware that she's lying and it's probably for a reason known to her.

As for Bill Clinton. Everyone says he is the most charismatic person they have ever met. He truly does make you feel like the most important person in the room when he talks to you.

I met Bill Clinton briefly before he was president in 1992. He was in town debating Jerry Brown (current California governor)in the primaries.

Me and my sister saw it on the news and decided to go down there to see some celebs.

The debate was over when we got there and a few grey haired ladies were chatting with him. I walked up and Bill saw me and walked over and said "hey man, how's it going" and we shook hands. He had a look in his eye like 'thanks for helping get away from those ladies.' Brief encounter and I didn't know much about him at the time, but noted to myself his charisma.

Then I met Jerry Brown outside and shook his hand. I thought he was an uncharasmitic dead fish in comparison.

Agree. When Clinton was Governor, he used state troopers to approach and bring him women -- sometimes unwillingly. His lack of game is apparent in his lack of quality, especially when compared to his position as President, which is why I do not believe the Hurley story.

There are few men who have more game than Clinton and Obama and really any President for that matter. These types of people are so charismatic they can become the most powerful and important person in the world by gaming both women and men.

Though it's rare to spend any quality time with a President, I'm sure everyone here has met a guy or girl that's like that to some degree.

I'm not sure about Obama being charismatic. He appeals to the donor base and the core of the party, partly by accident of birth, and partly because I'm sure he appeals to the intellectuals who are willing to drop a few thousand to attend a dinner with him.

Bush II definitely had something, but he was more of a good ol' boy alpha than a real master like Clinton. I lost count of how many people said that Bush was a guy they'd like to have a beer with. GHW Bush was not at all charismatic and rode Reagan's coattails into the White House, he was an insider. Reagan was pretty damn charismatic, but Carter, not at all. Carter got himself elected because he seemed down to earth, he was a southerner, and the country was pissed off over Watergate. JFK apparently had plenty, and LBJ was like GW Bush on steroids, growth hormone, and a few bottles of whiskey. Whatever you think of his Presidency, LBJ is a fascinating guy, all about power and how to wield it.

It's hard to go back much further than that, and before the 60's I'd agree that you had to have serious charisma to get elected to anything. Pre-WW II, there was way more emphasis put on skills that lead to charismatic behavior - rhetoric, public speaking, conversational and social skills, etiquette; especially in the exclusive private school environments that politicians typically went through. Back then, getting elected was literally shaking hands and kissing babies. These days, 90% of the electorate is only going to see a candidate on TV.

I have a friend who's family member worked as a white house staffer. When 9/11 went down they put her in a bunker in an undisclosed location.

She had met Clinton on several occasions and concluded that he could convince anyone to do anything.
