I searched and didn't see a thread dedicated to Tulsi Gabbard. She is talked about a lot here, so maybe the title doesn't include her name. I have been a fan of her's for a while, and I am sure many here support things she says. This tweet has won me over, wow, this took real courage.

Regarding "Cuties", Netflix had earlier defended it by claiming that the movie trailer and poster were "taken out of context", but now that the movie has come out, it's obvious that the movie is far worse than its trailer.

We needed Tulsi to step up a few months ago, and she didn't. She basically quit congress and running for president, so it's not like she was busy.

LOL Kona, I appreciate your thoughts and highly respect them. I don't know much about Tulsi other than she at least calls out the pro-war Democrat hawks, destroyed Kamala on the national debate stage, and now this tweet which goes against the Democrat party new "pro-pedo" stance.

I am sure like all politicians she is extremely limited, putting it kindly. And I appreciate hearing the more local news about here and it puts me at some ease to hear that she is probably one of the best politicians, but in the real world this means little because even the best politician is still a politician at the end of the day.

Sounds like Tulsi isn't so great, just looks great compared to people like Kamala Harris and Joe Biden.

Yes, Hawaii has the highest unemployment rate in the nation. What would you expect since there have been zero tourists for the past six months? The unemployment office being closed, not answering email or phone calls because of the pandemic is for your safety! Besides, the CARES Act funds have been redistributed to all the police agencies keeping us alive by citing people like you who walk through parks or the beach. I’ve seen with my own eyes runners selfishly getting exercise also cited for not wearing their mask and justifiably so. I just had base police from Schofield on 4wheelers roll through the beach in front of my house here in Waialua.

It's all over without Josh Green. He was the only level headed politician we have. I think it's very suspect that the day after he speaks out AGAINST THE SCREWBALL SHUTDOWN RULES he gets the virus. Ige and Caldwell have some bizarre agenda to keep everything closed. Its obvious. I know the top folks in North Shore real-estate and some of the top lawyers. Everyone says this is some kind of attempt to drive down property values.

In fact, as I type this i read that Tanioka's, one of my biggest customers, just closed down. This fucks up what is already my Plan B.

Tulsi has no job right now. As we know, she has aspirations outside of Hawaii. She could easily take advantage of this situation and win the Honolulu mayor job, or be governor in two years. Make some noise and better prep for a later presidential bid, and help Hawaii out in the meantime. I don't think America was quite ready to vote for a woman president, let alone a Hindu or whatever the hell she is, but in 2024 or 2028 Tulsi will be a sane alternative to Cardi B.

I think she likely is eyeing becoming a pundit or getting her own show, sort of what Megyn Kelly used to be on Fox. She definitely has more presidential runs in her, but I think she may be gunning for a sec. def position or sec. state appointment in a future admin. I think she is also leaving Hawaii because she only ran as a D because R is dead in Hawaii. I don’t think she really cares that much about issues outside defense/foreign affairs, and just picks up the Dem line on everything else.
