TV Commercials in the USA, Japan and Turkey – What Do They Say About Their Respective Societies?

Serie A1

Hey there guys,
I hope that this post finds all of you in excellent spirits.

I was watching some global commercials recently, and they make for fascinating viewing:

1. USA

2. Japan

3. Turkey

Some personal observations:
  • The US commercials are very clever in places, but the least attractive, both visually and aurally.
  • The Japanese messages look like they are from the twenty-second century – albeit a slightly surreal version of it.
  • The Turkish commercials have the catchiest songs, and are the most family-minded – but look slightly 'old'.
In terms of what this says about the respective societies: the contemporary US looks like an unbelievably individualistic place; Japan is more collectivist; Turkey somewhere in the middle.

Your thoughts?

I can't speak for Americans but their culture from what I'm told by my friends is much less pozzed than advertising would have it seem. These ads literally seem like Jew brainwashing. Haven't gotten around to watching the other two.
