I only wish I was joking with this one, but sadly I'm not:

Imagine what the Equal Opportunities section on a job application will look like if this takes hold.

Yesterday, I went on the BBC website to check the Man U-Liverpool score (Man U won 3-2), and came across a video on the BBC website which was talking about the benefits of having multiple relationships.

It shocked me for a moment that these types of materials are being published by the BBC until I remembered the BBC is now nothing more than a propaganda arm for the elites of the country.

It's no surprise they are propagating these harebrained theories on gender. They have lost all credibility as a news organisation. They have unintentionally turned into a comedy channel.

1984 wasn’t supposed to be an instruction manual but Brave New World is precisely that.

Sweden must be livid.

NB: this is happening when a so-called far right conservative government is in power with an 80 seat majority.

I hate right wing conservatives like Boris Johnson with a passion. To be honest I think he is the politician I hate the most at the moment. I can't for example hate Biden on that level because he is just doing what you expect him to do, but guys like Johnson came to power by deceiving men with good intentions.

I wouldn't read anything into this; the BBC is widely known as damaged beyond repair. The comments tell you more about the British outlook towards this nonsense.

And can somebody please make a meme of this:

"...The modern English word gender comes from the Middle English gender, gendre, a loanword from Anglo-Norman and Middle French gendre. This, in turn, came from Latin genus. Both words mean "kind", "type", or "sort..." Wiki

So in this case I agree with the BBC. There are in fact a lot more genders out there than a hundred. (types, kinds and sorts of people) This term is not a euphemism for biological sex however, even though it`s been used in that way for most of it`s history. So we can simply stick it to these people by agreeing with them that there are xxxxx amounts of genders, but only two biological sexes. And if they really want to argue, just point out that there are in fact genetic differences between the sexes that can be proven with a gene sequence, and the differences will always be there for all biological males and females.

BS semantics...this is what this is.

Stop paying the BBC license fee would be a good idea :sneaky:
Isn't that taken out of their taxation that they give no choice in?

If I were a British person, I would proceed as follows

The law says you need to be covered by a TV Licence to:
* watch or record programmes as they’re being shown on TV, on any channel
* watch or stream programmes live on an online TV service (such as ITV Hub, All 4, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Now TV, Sky Go, etc.)
* download or watch any BBC programmes on iPlayer.
This applies to any device you use, including a TV, desktop computer, laptop, mobile phone, tablet, games console, digital box or DVD/VHS recorder.
You only need one TV Licence per household, even if you use more than one of the devices listed above. A TV Licence costs £157.50 for colour TV, and £53 for black and white.

Hm... looks quite easy, just say you don't consume any of their programs, but

What happens if I tell you I don't need a TV Licence?

We will send you confirmation of your No Licence Needed declaration.

If you tell us you don’t need a licence, we may confirm this with a visit to your address. This is because when we visit and make contact, we find one in six people* that tell us they don't need a TV Licence actually do need one. If you are not licensed, you risk prosecution and a fine of up to £1,000** plus any legal costs and/or compensation you may be ordered to pay.

You can opt out here: https://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/cs/no-licence-needed/index.app

It was similar in Germany until 2012.
From 2013, however, everyone is "liable to pay fees" if they have a home, i.e. everyone except homeless people.
But here, too, there is a way to opt-out. :sneaky:
