"Normie" status for 2023 equates to personal laziness to find alternative views (which are easily accessible to all) or a distrust in alternative media.

The simpler days just meant we were all much more propagandized by the uniformity of media.

The only reason why I would ever want to go back to those times is because sometimes all this knowledge is just more of a burden. I want to just have a family and check out.
I do not agree at all about being much more propagandized in the past. In the simpler days, the media was less uniform than it is today. That said I am in my 50s, so my past is likely much earlier than yours.

The media was less uniform, but there was no internet back then. Much harder to find information about a topic other than what was presented in the media.

Now all the information in the world is in your pocket.

But I agree that things were less propagandized, for sure.

I am guessing you are much younger than me. All of the information in the world most certainly is not in your pocket. That you think it is, is by design. You have less info now
than I had in the 80s. The information in your pocket is the most curated info that has existed in my lifetime.

I grew up in a world without internet. How you can claim you had access to more information before the internet existed is beyond me. Although yes, most of the internet is noise and distraction. But again, we can agree to disagree.

Modern day journalism in a nutshell.

RIP.

That's one of the most disgustingly disturbing things I've read in a while (and that says a lot). Soon suicide will be out of our vocabulary. "He decided to die" I refuse to believe that article was written like that by chance. Brave New World today.

Yeah I get you... but unfortunately there's no unclicking in this truth game! There's a reason why Cypher wanted his memory wiped out after his treason in the Matrix!

And on top of that... the awful vocabulary of that paragraph literally gave me hope of becoming the next Steven King... but then I remembered that I write like a retard! How far has mainstream fallen damn!!

what do you guys make of the latest hamlin videos? on the one hand, it's hard to say that it's NOT him and that he's apparently okay, but OTOH the fact that he's releasing these edited videos rather than just being normal seems off. in addition to the complete silence in terms of following up to explain what happened to him. Now he's just doing social media challenges promotingn CPR

It will be interesting to see if he’s on the field again next season. My guess is he quietly disappears from professional football and isn’t heard much from again.

The Bills losing and being knocked out of the NFL post season probably made a bunch of people very happy. Out of sight out of mind

When it comes out, and it will,(and it will) that he has myocarditis, pericarditis, or both and can never play again, it will be low key announcement and they'll probably say it was congenital and all the doctors doing his physicals missed it. The NFL and college football will "look into way" to make sure it doesnt happen again moving forward.

However the next one that drops on live TV is going to take next level dog wagging to cover up
