Virtual Mate: The First Virtual Intimacy System

There was an IndieGogo for a "virtual" woman that I think is set to launch in May. The IndieGogo page and their website has nudity. I'm not linking them here. It's a CGI woman on your computer who looks as realistic as characters in video games now. They motion capture real women. It is connected to a flesh-light, and the CGI will respond to whatever you're doing. They advertise it as not being robotic. She also talks to you.

The CEO talks about it (no nudity). He doesn't really blink which is unsettling.

It will cost $170 for early birds, and $400 for everyone else. The IndieGogo campaign's goal was $25,000. They raised a little under half a million ($422,900). I thought this related to the whole discuss of sex bots. They market it as "her performance will replicate that of a real person, without traditional stress." Here's how they describe it on their website:

Through advanced technological development over time, Virtual Mate's performance will become growingly real. Her performance will replicate that of a real person, without traditional stress or limitations. This makes virtual mate interaction more fun than anything you've ever experienced.

We are able to create virtual mates based on ANY character or actress who provides us with permission. As we gain more copyrights, you'll gain access to more virtual mates based on the appearances of the icons you know and love. While the current version has been designed for male users, our female-user version is in development.

Your Virtual Mate receives your depth, speed, strength in real-time and responds accordingly, thus she moves exactly as a real human would move. We’ve built different sets of micro-length motions, which combine into different types of motions and convert seamlessly. Players will never feel their virtual mates are acting like a robot or repeating the same motion all the time.

Degenerates will self-select themselves out of the gene pool. The future belongs to those who show up. Not soy boys jerking off to a virtual "woman".

You would think that a lot of men would pay for her not talking to you. Can`t see that being a selling point for this thing. Maybe "she`s" got a few preloaded speeches about how women are oppressed by the patriarchy, equal pay, fat positivity, the danger of white supremacy etc.

I`ll bet there`s tons of MGTOW`s that are enthusiastic about news like this. I just think it`s sad and meaningless at this point. The only positive thing I can take from this is that it`s marginally better than casual sex, since there is no STI risk. That`s quite important in fact. If only gays could use this, instead of another man`s butt.

This is depressing.

A silicone doll would be more realistic than that. I try not to judge since there's too many people who would never be able to have sex with an attractive women. This way they can at least fantasize about it. But this generation that has a virtual life more significant than his real life, will use such masturbator.

Maybe it's a good sign. Incels will stop putting e-thots on a pedestal since they'll be busy with Virtual Mate(tm).

This was my thought. I'm wondering how this will affect that whole e-thot market. It seems like some men like e-thots who interact with them occasionally, like on twitch when they read a comment here and there. It gives them a fantasy of having a girlfriend. But I suspect the limited amount of talking this Virtual Mate does could fufill that for the men, especially if they like "using" the product.

Unless (until?) feminists get involved, it would never say anything rude or condescending like this twitch thot.

What could possibly go wrong?
The guy in the video has already gone wrong.

What a mess!
While this is true, a lot of blame has to be placed on the suckers that buy into this too.
There's one benefit to the people who buy into this. They're giving money there, and not to webcam girls and instagram "models" and the like. It will lower the inflated ego of some of these girls once there are fewer losers paying to see them, and those women need to be taken down many notches.

This is the saddest thing I have seen in a long time.

I remember when I was a young kid (around 5-8 years old), my family had several house pets (cats and dogs). One day, my dad showed me an article in a magazine claiming that in the future, people would have virtual pets that would provide "companionship" but you wouldn't have to feed or take care of them. At the time, I remember being confused and sad. It was very off-putting to think that people would want "companionship" from a non-conscious robot.

And now there's this. I didn't even watch the video because it is too sad and messed up.

You guys can talk shit and call the men who would buy this "simps" and "soy boys" (and you'd be right), but if they get to the point where they would actually buy something like this, they are already in such a sad situation and their spirit is so dark that I just feel bad for them and I don't even feel comfortable talking shit about them.

The fact that there are people marketing and selling this stuff makes me very angry. These people deserve to be shot (and worse things that I can't even post here).

P.S. It's hooked up to a Fleshlight? Come on, man. So, like, the virtual girl supposedly reacts to your thrusts and movements in real time? What the f**k? Like, how do they even write the code for that?

I wish I could un-see this thread. Ruined my night.

On the bright side, seeing this made me realize that my own f**ked up situation is not so bad. Even at my worst, I was never as far gone as the men who would use the products discussed in this thread.

EDIT: Just watched the first 45 seconds of the video OP posted (that's as far as I could get). He claims that men who watch porn and masturbate experience "no real connection" with the porn stars, but that a "real connection" is possible with his products.

Yeah, that's right. He claims his products offer men a "real connection" with a woman.

I want to break walls and flip tables right now.

I guess the selling point is that, no matter how awkward some dude is, the fake girl will find it charming. Some nerd would love to be able to attract a girl with his dungeons and dragons knowledge.

Fake Girl: You're a level 9 Paladin? I think I just kerplooshed myself.
Fake Girl: I get so horny hearing about the history of the Shire.

There was a sex doll years ago that, if you had a longer conversation with it, would eventually start talking about how the Jews control the world. That's an odd choice from the programmer.
