They missed the option "Preparing to bravely battle on the frontlines"
The West no doubt knows this man's weaknesses, but uses him to manipulate the world and the Ukrainian people anyway. This telegram post, along with the ones during the first weeks where Z was nearly incoherent during press interviews, no doubt sent alarm bells through intelligence minders, who should have notified the chain of command. I suspect his early week-long absence from the Kiev scene was a detox spell of sorts. Still, we watch as a coke addict and maybe down-low gay man (broadly rumored in Ukraine prior to hostilities) commands an Army in contact with a nuke superpower. I guess the West has little choice, as the Ukrainians "elected" this man.

The overall impression I have of Volodymyr Zelensky is that he fancies himself as some sort of modern Winston Churchill, defending his country from a fascist invader and rallying his troops and allies by way of his eloquence.
However in reality, he is more like Fidel Castro: An inept dictator of a deeply corrupt country who mismanages his position between two power blocks to the point where he endangers his own country's very existence.

Castro had the luck of being the dictator of an island nation, Zelensky does not. His country sits on the center of the European plain, and mistakes are not forgiven. If him or Kholomoisky would have had any brains they would have known what dangerous situation they are in, but either by way of carelessness or overconfidence, they miscalculated their position. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are paying the price for that.

Amazing that the head of state can't afford to even buy a secondhand suit or even a basic polo shirt. I don't mean to sound like an elitist snob, but as a leader, he really makes Ukraine look poor and undignified by wearing the same basic clothes every day especially when he will be meeting other leaders.
True. At least his ((((people)))) that infest every wealthy city in America generally dress dapper. This man (Zelenskyy) looks like a peasant lol.

It's for political theater to show they are at war.... It's not because they can't afford it, he's had many interviews with a suit.

It's for propaganda.

The comparison made earlier to Fidel Castro is fitting although it would make more sense if Ukraine were also officially a 'communist' nation. Kim Jong-Il also dressed like a poor soldier which was also bogus considering that he didn't live modestly.

I get the propaganda, but it is hard to take seriously unless he only wears this when visiting soldiers on the front line. Even soldiers are expected to dress formally for these kind of affairs.

Also, I couldn't find information that Zelensky even served in the military before. Does anybody know more whether he served or not?

“I know that in Denmark, a candle is an image of hygge and normal home life. That’s a life many people in Ukraine can hardly imagine,” he said during the address.

“I would ask people at home in Danish families today to light a candle in memory of the Ukrainian lives that have been lost to the Russian invasion. In memory of those who have sacrificed their lives for our peace and freedom,” he said.
