Not to hijack the thread, but this is a well-known historical fact:

In World War II, tungsten played a significant role in background political dealings. Portugal, as the main European source of the element, was put under pressure from both sides, because of its deposits of wolframite ore at Panasqueira. Tungsten's resistance to high temperatures and its strengthening of alloys made it an important raw material for the arms industry.

Sweden is a good country. Their particular brand of feminism is NOT the same as American style.

Women have it good there, but it hasn't turned them bitches, as it has in the west. Same goes for Norway.

Iceland was a different story. There I encountered more bitchy, angry-at-their-lot-in-life feminist attitudes. Finland was similar for me. Can't speak on Denmark. Bang Denmark sufficiently scared me away.

Swedish blogger Anders Janson observes that “Finns think that the comparatively talkative and urbane Swedish men are homosexuals.”

This is true. Practically every finn I know thinks of swedes as gays. Even our talk show -hosts sometimes tell jokes about how gay our western neighbors are.

Because almost all of them wear clothes like guys from Geordie Shore and have that super funny hair styles. Are they atleast considered as a good gamers among the swedish chicks?

Never been to Sweden, but met many Swedish travelers in my own travels. Dated a Swedish girl for a while as well. A little mad (neurotic), but no silly fake gender issues ever came up.

For all I know the gender politics of the country IS messed up, but it definitely never trickled down to the actual people I met. Like most places the politics and the media exist in their own bubble. The people are "taking care of business".

I strongly suspect that guys thinking they are going to go to Sweden and score big time because the local guys are neutered pussies may be in for a rude awakening. Guys are guys, and unless the "socialists" have put anti-testosterone chemicals in the water supply (and, no, they haven't) are going to face just as much competition as anywhere else...
