Western media propaganda

That Kim vid could be from anywhere, however, the first scene does show what appears to be a Russian style powerplant in the background, with the red/white alternating stripes.

For America to be sending in their own shows how obvious the rushed withdrawal from Afghanistan was to get the troops ready for Ukraine in such a short notice.

The official propaganda line was that NATO trained another bunch of Ukrainian troops after the first bunch were murdered, all the way back in April:

So, that is less than 3 months and they've got another huge army ready, bigger than the last?

This isn't a movie my friends, this is real life. Preparing for such a huge undertaking is more than 3 months.

What happened, in hindsight, was that America's NATO troops were just observing Ukraine in the field, so they could avoid their mistakes and know how to counter Russian troop movements. They were already prepared for warfare in Europe, but they still had no idea of how Russian strategy or tactics worked.

The pawns were sacrificed so that the knight and bishop pieces knew where to attack. Those Ukrainians can now be the "heroes" who liberated Ukraine when in reality they were actual cannon fodder.

Russia probably did not expect this response, because they were using a lot of new techniques and strategies foreign to NATO. But once NATO could analyze battlefield footage for two months, they were able to figure out how to prepare their troops against it.

So they are able to catch Russians unawares, hence the large retreat - the General in charge of these forces was getting hit by opponents in several areas they were not expecting all at once, so the correct move to spare lives is to simply take the loss and retreat. Lives are far harder to replace than tanks or guns.

Now Russia is calling up a much larger force, and soon just as there are thousands of Americans leading thousands of Ukrainians and other Euros in the battlefields, soon there will be thousands of Russians leading thousands of Chechens, Chinese, Koreans, etc.

War in the age of globalism. Everyone is connected to events now. 50 years ago China didn't care if Russia was conquered or not, they had their own issues to worry about. Today the situation is reversed and what happens in one corner of the globe will cause another country on the side to go bankrupt.

Would US troops not be conspicuous given that many are black or Latino? If they're just sending white troops to the 'meat grinder' isn't that blatant racism?
I think there are very small numbers of Americans in Ukraine (relative to the size of the US army) and they are likely getting just a few volunteers at this point: the sadly misinformed rural whites with no better career options, and a blind trust in their government propaganda to volunteer to go kill Evil Putler.

The minorities are more likely to have Muhammad Ali's approach: "No Russian ever took away my Section 8 Voucher" and see no reason to go fight foreign wars. If there is an official US involvement, then they will send over the brown masses.

But there are tons of these boomer-lite types that are totally gung ho on fighting for democracy in Hong Kong or anal sex in Ukraine or antiracism for the Uigers or whatever, and they are the brainwashed white 95 IQ types.

Do you all think that the approximately 24/7 stream of pro-Ukrainian media is losing its effect simply because Americans are numb to it now?

Of course, this will depend on the circles of people you interact with, in some circles they are probably proclaiming Ukrainian triumphs daily still, but from my perspective it looks like even the most determined media attempts to drum up Ukrainian enthusiasm just don't have much of any effect now. The media are trying to maintain the triumphalist narrative with the capture of Lyman now, and talking again about Russia's imminent collapse and desperation just like in March, but in contrast to March, when people cared so much that it was creepy, now it just seems like nobody cares anymore.

The propaganda machine appears to have broken down.

A representative of the far-right Azov Battalion - part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces - has claimed that Russian forces tried to capture soldiers from the battalion after capturing them at the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol.

wut?

This one is really funny. Do people believe these stories?

  • Ukraine set up hotline called 'I Want To Live' for Russian soldiers to surrender
  • Andriy Yusov, military intelligence spokesman, said 2,000 have already called
  • Some calls have come from troops still in Russia, about to go to the frontlines
Russia already announced it won't be punishing those who refuse their duty to serve. So if you were that much of a coward, you just wouldn't report for duty, instead of reporting for duty, being shipped off to war, and then contacting the enemy and arranging to give up and hoping your fellow comrades don't strangle you, and then sitting in a military prison. This stuff defies common sense.

Is this true? Where is this? I would love this to be true. Why do people bother to flee the country to dodge the draft instead of staying put?

Special Forces are overwhelmingly white because black guys are generally physically denser (greater bone and muscle mass density, not volume) and have a hard time passing the swimming test. White boy still can't jump, but he can float.

Russians who have decided to leave the country amid the ongoing partial mobilization will face no additional legal consequences but will likely be unable to avoid a “moral” responsibility, the head of Russia’s commission for the defense of state sovereignty, Senator Andrey Klimov, has said.

In a Telegram post on Wednesday, the senator explained that, according to the Constitution, Russian citizens have the right to freely leave the country as long as they don’t have any outstanding issues with the law and have not violated any administrative or criminal codes.

Klimov warned, however, that “serious moral responsibility” cannot be avoided by some of those who decided to run. “It is unlikely that anyone will cover the profits they themselves have missed and the losses they incurred from a hasty escape abroad,” the senator wrote, saying that he doubts “leaving the Fatherland in danger” will bring any luck to such fugitives.

■ Do you remember the March fake videos from Ukrainian producers?

■ That's what they do - produce fakes, just like their masters from Hollywood teach them.

■ American actor and director Sean Penn flew to Ukraine late January and spent several months there. A lot of those fake videos are of his production team.
