What are the options?

This is a question that should be asked by everyone of us. What are the (viable) options? I know I could just sit back and enjoy the decline. Just work enough to get by, live in a cheap motorhome and go where I wish and all that while civilization goes down the shitter.

This isn't really something I'd want to do. I'd prefer to see my bloodline flourish if I could, but whats a man to do? While early retirement is technically possible it's complicated by the decline, real estate is just going up and up, the casino is now preferable to the stock market and I got no entrepreneurial instinct whatsoever.

Meanwhile being a mechanic is a double edged sword, they can never automate my ass but I can never work remotely either.

Living the 1950s lifestyle seems increasingly impossible, our domestic supply has gone purple haired, pierced and tattooed feminazi. Foreign women meanwhile present the risk of becoming americanized and raping us both at the state and federal level.

At this rate I've even considered moving to the border and simply commuting from Mexico (where I would live) to America (where I would work) despite the commute from hell.

Guys who are in the same boat as me, how do we get ourselves out of this mess?

I know a guy who is in a similar position to you.

He has a job that can't be automated that has plenty of bad perspectives you could look at it from.

He's got a sprog on the way, while we are staring down a large recession. One of his clients jumped ship today because they are belt tightening.

His perspective is to be positive and pump out as many children as he can in his wife's fertility window.

So long as you can keep in perspective reasons to live and value in tomorrow you solider on.

With women, I can't talk as I am not married, but you have to choose wisely and make her know divorce is not on the table for you. Whatever happens you will tackle it. The risks of picking a woman today are just a cross we have to bear.

I’m focusing entirely on faith, fitness, and finance. My life doesn’t have room for much beyond everything those three entail, and I barely have enough free time to be anxious or worried about all this. Whatever’s going to happen is going to happen and you have no control over anything beyond what you choose to do with your time. So first, accept that. Then choose your priorities and put all your energy into them. We aren’t going to have the same opportunities that men of other generations had because the context of life in America has completely changed from what they experienced. That’s just how it is. But the worst thing you can do is feel, think, or act like a victim. People have lived and thrived in far worse conditions. So again - choose your priorities, realistic ones of course, and do your best to just ignore anything beyond them.

My plan is make a farmstead in the countryside with as many others as I can convince (aiming for 3 other families to start, thinking one other is pretty solid and 2 others are maybes, willing to do it alone if necessary), build our little community out there, raise our kids in a healthy environment, live honorable lives in harmony with nature. My job makes this easier for me, which is a privilege, but also it's hard to get everything set up, it feels like I need to get a bunch of loose ends tied up and tying any one is hard without another already being tied. But, I'm working on it, and I encourage others to think about it.
