What is the most powerful brain supplement?

+1 for adderall. When I take it I feel like Bradley Cooper in Limitless. I have an amazing amount of energy and focus, especially if it is in a time release capsule. It puts me in a great mood and even helps me pick up girls. I only know of a few friends that have prescriptions though, so I only take it maybe once or twice a month.

Have you ever tried daily brain teasers? Lots of science in reference to that. Solve a mathematical equation, or, any other type of games, to increase your cognitive abilities. I'm not sure why you would want a supplement as this age though.

Whats the natural version of Aderall? Most chem creations are mimics of natural substances. I've herd bout Aderall and my school gives out prescriptions if your dumb lol. But I'm afraid to use it because I've herd its mad addictive and I have and bad addictive personality. I myself am interested in natural herbs or plants that have potent brain boosting effects.

I am not a dumb kid but my mind is literally spinning 24/7, I have trouble focusing on specific tasks and my reward/punish function of my brain is completely messed also. My dompamine levels must be through the roof. Hopefully this thread developers into something great, I am looking for alternatives big time.

Ginkgo I've heard great things about. Omegas are good also. But yea I need something way more rank.

**I bit off topic but I've always wondered if language plays a big role in intelligence in certain tasks also. I've read Chinese and most other Asian languages because of they way they are structured and how you process it logically to form speech comes as asset when learning numbers and math since the languages and mathematical steps are structured some what the same. Any truth to this for anybody whom knows other languages?

I think aderall is some nasty stuff, and personally I wouldn't touch it, although a lot of people praise it's ability to help you focus, study, work, etc.

From what I hear ginko biloba is the best stuff if you want something, to increase mental focus. Omega-3s are also supposed to be good, I just started taking some really good quality fish oil and I'm happy with it, I'm also stoked because I just read in Men's Health that fish oil helps a lot with building muscle mass.

Yes, back in the day I used to take Flax Seed Oil like mad. I guess it helps with recovery (calming down inflammation) so you can get back to working the muscle again quicker. Supposedly Fish Oil is better than Flax Seed at accomplishing this.

I have slight ADD, I need supplemental assistance. When i take certain things, my mind is more focused etc.
My place remains messy when I am in my worst states and I procrastinate dreadfully due to the stress of over-analysing shyt.
I think it's my elephant memory that has saved me during education.

When you say you have "slight ADD" , were you diagnosed with the disorder? Tons of people have been diagnosed/misdiagnosed with ADHD, yet, a lot of them have turned out to be some of the most brilliant people you would ever meet. Brain teasers will aid in self regulation, especially if there is a reward, plus, it sharpens your cognitive skills beyond belief. It's better than any supplement, since, it is a conditioning of the mind.

I wasn't, you know I grew up in UK, they don't do all the hypochondriac stuff they do over here. Many of my friends are dyslexic but they were just classified as knuckleheads and moved on with the show.

I have several sums books and I am always running calculations in my head with mental arithmetic just for fun.

I found when I took certain supplements it helped for a while and then tapered off. I was looking for the ultimate ACV equiv here.
I came in from clubbing last night around 2:30am. I had woken up the day before at 5:00am (for work). I had to wake up this morning for 6:00am. Fcuk Maxwells. Two tablespoons of ACV and I'm a soldier with mine.
I just look for the same equivalent on the mental front.
I'm 95% certain it's a supplement issue.

Perhaps it's not ADD? Maybe you have an active brain, and require more challenges in life than what you are presented with. Its like the guy who says, "I need 8 hours of sleep", simply because he was told 8 hours would make him function better. Do you really believe that?

I've tried out every other alternative. When I have supplemented with natural elements that deal with scatterbrain, I have responded very favourably.

When you take this "supplement" do you focus more in general, or do you procrastinate less depending on the task?

Moma you are a young cat, no need to be taking that shit.

Get the habit of jogging everyday, work out, eat nice food and lots of it, read for one hour at least per day and you will be fine. Make it natural.

I think focusing more and procrastinating less. I find it easier to focus on important tasks instead of dilly dallying browsing aimlessly.
Even when I find myself drifting off into distraction, I am able to consciously recognise it and more readily pull myself back into the task at hand.
For instance, sometimes if I am reading a particularly informative book or pdf, if the ideas are very interesting to me, I become infused with energy and I jump up and start pacing instead of letting the information flow through more readily.
I am less impulsive but consequently less creative. My more creative pieces comes when I am in scatterbrain mode.

Seems as though you have identified triggers that one can assume are imbalances in brain chemistry. This could also be quite genetic, and if it is, then learning the things that trigger such impulses is a good a cure as any. As in my case, my Grandparents never sat still for 2 seconds. It could also be environmental, but, I often question why is it this disorder seems to be centralized and diagnosed/reported more so , in industrialized nations. Maybe there's just more to do, in a short span of time in such nations. My guess is that it is purely genetic, and one would find kids in the Sahara, acting the same way if they were predisposed to such traits. I try my best to stay away from conventional medicines, but sometimes they are needed in severe cases. I think someone on here already mentioned Ginkoba for focus and stimuli, and I also drink a lot of valerian , chamomille, tea when I feel certain impulses that may stir up the urge to wander the halls of Montezuma. If you find that you are more creative when in "scatter brain mode", I am not sure why this would warrant a cure. Some of the most brilliant men in history would be diagnosed today as "scatterbrained".

Yes, i've tried Gingko before but it gives me excessive erections. As much as I luv slaying lizards, I also enjoy acquiring informations and I've never been good at studying with a hard one.
Yes, I still feel there is a natural alternative. I don't do well with pharmaceutical shyt at all.

I think you have this all figured out.

1.Ginko when you want to fuck a lizard into a trance, or, get creative when the urge hits.
2. Valerian tea, or any other natural substance to calm the neurons, (try it) when you get an impulsive feeling to "roam".

Either way, you are definitely not a candidate for a big pharma company to extract money from.

Yea, I was trying to incorporate all options here. Superior mental capacities has always intrigued me.

Trust me brother, a lot of disorders are invented.... You can feel things without having to ascribe to a theory. The trick is controlling what you feel, unless of course, the gene, has mutated beyond your control. In your case, this is so mild that I would continue on the path of creativity, even if science says otherwise. As long as you are not disruptive to society , or yourself, rock on, fuck on!
