One thing people like to cite is that women weren't allowed to vote, but the reality is that the majority of women didn't want the right; it had nothing to do with men holding them down. Another thing people like to cite is men beating their wives, but the reality is that mutual domestic violence was very common (and still is), and the prevelance of women beating men exclusively was much higher than the narrative would have you believe.</p></blockquote><p></p>
