Just kidding, please don't ban.

I've been listening to the following a lot past few months

And current guilty pleasure (due to the fact that its Grande, but the Weeknd is always solid)

Kamikaze

Woodpecker
Thievery Corporation - leading provider of smooth sex music. Their album this year (Saudade) is an experiment with bossa nova, which I normally don't care for. But they banged out a few usable tunes. Check the whole album out, it's solid.

The Donkeys also released an album this year, Ride the Black Wave. Very hipster shit. Added benefit is that their music is bitch-approved. Put this on in your car while transporting pussy to a date or your lair, and it should be well-received by most (white) girls. I don't like the majority, but one song made the cut to my bitch list.

Still can't decide if this song is retarded or brilliant, but no song will remind me of 2014 quite like this:

Runner up:

Favorite video (was actually 2013, but only saw it this year):

Aer

Woodpecker
Kygo's ascent began in 2014 and will continue into 2015. I noticed that the trend is spreading from Europe to the United States very quickly. This music is SO chill.

I was in Turkey this summer. and this song came on the radio.
I like it

This song is oddly simply...complain that white girls are stealing funk.. but I liked it
I would also bang the singer

The song itself is pretty shitty.
But Before I went to Romania this summer, a romanian girl showed me this video to convince me

German new blues style singer

Haven't listened to a lot of new music of 2014.
Tons of new music to catch up with.

What is that weird thing the guy in the maroon is holding and why is that guy in the background beating on those cylinder things with those sticks? I don't get it.

Not the release version which they added crap to, but the original demo from 1983 with just MJ and Paul Anka on piano:

First worked on as a demo, Jackson co-produced the song during a 1983 recording session with Anka. The original version only featured Jackson's vocals, handclaps and a piano, played by Anka.

If you guys use Spotify, they should've sent you an email with your most listened to song of 2014. If you click through you can get a summary of your listening metrics for the year (stuff like your top 10 tracks, total listening hours, most listened to artist by season, etc). Good stuff, and I found some of the results surprising.

For me, the most listened to song of 2014...

Favorite R&B jam...

Bedroom mix leadoff track...

Guilty pleasure...

I really enjoyed music in 2014. There's good shit out there if you just dig a bit.
