Had a few cheap phones stolen in the DR, along with clothes.
Someone committed perjury against me which could have landed me a long jail sentence.
Almost got shot in a bike shop.
Got into an almost near fatal accident years ago. Wasn't driving.
A dirty Greek stole my android phone, after the phone company stole it and gave a more fucked up one.

Attempted kidnapping - Mexico during 1999-2000 while living with my mom, my dad had left 2 months earlier. My parents have the nicest house in the shitty neighborhood (40 blocks). Someone started dropping notes to drop off some cash or else they would kidnap us, they knew my dad returned to the US. First we just shrug it off, until we started hearing people trying to break-in at night. Uncle worked for the goverment, had some cops provide security and bought a cell phone (expensive as fudge back in 2000 Mexico). On my way to school our driver noticed someone following us so he hit the pedal to the metal, met a cop car, switched there, and got the fuck out. My mom agreed to the drop with a trap set up people watching over, my uncle had some of his guys watching too. The problem was they never told each other about the other's intentions....so each group took pictures of the other group and missed the 'nappers. As a safety measure my mom sent me back to Texas on a 5am flight and we left in the middle of the night. Eventually we paid some cops to beat some neighbors and get info from them. It turned out that 3 of our neighbors were the ones trying to do that shit.
Full fledged fatal attraction style stalking.
Jumped by 4 or 5 guys. Kicked around for a bit in the alley. Still managed to find my friends and walk home that night.
About 90% of the violent crime I've been involved with in my life was in or because this shithole existed until finally it got torn down. It was notorious and you can't even really find a picture of it online.
Those motherfuckers roamed the streets creating mayhem in the entire city, you would have to go in there heavily armed to retrieve whatever it was they took from you, the cops wouldn't set foot in the place for years.

Was stabbed in the back twice when I was 16yo. My older brother (he's 5yrs older), got jumped from a drug deal gone wrong. I jumped in there got stabbed twice in the back. One of my brother's friends ran to the car grabbed a .38 and in the ensuing scuffle my brother popped one of our attackers in the neck with it.
Cops came, my brother went to trial and was acquitted.
I came within an inch of being paralyzed.
Point is, after experiencing that kind of shit, all the bar/club fights are a joke. I got jumped couple weekends ago; got a black eye but my buddy got his jaw broken.
Life goes on, but I really don't fear death. Not when I've been that close.

Just remembered that I've been the victim of a heinous crime. I was cockblocked on a teenage girl by a faggot. It was a case of me fucking her, the only eligible girl within 200 km, and someone in my room (there weren't many hotels around there) saying that he couldn't sleep very loudly many times while I was going to town. I've told the story elsewhere on the forum but am too smashed to look it up right now.
As far as I can remember I've solved all the crime against me except one case that plagues me to this day. When I say solved I mean either handle it on the spot or do my own investigation and deliver my form of justice/restitution
I bought a factory works USA made titanium mountain bike that the Mongoose team riders used to race about 10 years ago. I used to bar crawl on it and ride it here almost every day and kept it hanging on my front porch.
So, one day I come home from work and some retard is cutting down a tree in my driveway and I asked him why and he said Luis my landscaper buddy told him to because he needed to build a bigger driveway, after two trees I told him to stop and when I came back he was riding the bike in the woods and yelling "this thing's awesome" then put it back on the porch...
A couple weeks later...
It's gone. I FREAK THE FUCK OUT! and call Luis and say hey dude where's your tree buddy. Luis calls him a few times no answer he goes over and the dude is DEAD! He took some pills and drank/ fell asleep..very common here.
I find the dudes mothers number and call her. I'm sorry about your son but he was the last person near my bike etc etc.. I need to go through his stuff with or without your permission.
I break in to his place, search, nothing.
Where the fuck is it? What would these local clowns do with a Ti bike with XTR components? Someone is going to know it's not a bum bike so, I go to the bike stores then start with the pawn shops...This is where the real trouble began....
They wouldn't let me go through their inventory that was recently pawned they stored in the back room.
