Where is a free country/area?, where I can emigrate?

Hello

SInce the "virus" hit my country I am living in a Orwelian society, you have to wear a mask inside the shops and in the streets(I NEVER WEAR A MASK, AND I WILL NEVER WEAR A MASK), even they speak about masks inside the homes, people wear masks when they drive alone, run, cycling, etc and everybody is agree because it is the best way to protect US(collectivism) from the so called "virus". Human rights and basic laws are totally ignored and you cannot go for a walk without meetting a police man who will ask you: where do you go?, what are you doing?, etc, etc

They are starting to do test(they are fake) for covid, knocking the door of people... and we have a goverment what has already killed people, etc, of course there are a lot of propaganda, etc

Poverty is increasing because the lockdown and do you know the worst?, people totally support the goverment, the lockdown and hate people like myself who dont wear a mask(here you have to have a mask in the street, always you are not in home).

I dont want to explain everything here, but I have a political background, so I am pretty sure I will get a lot of problems soon and a lot of political dissenters are leaving the country.

The point is what I want to move abroad to a country/area with basic human rights, freedom, etc, but I dont know what country can be, all of them had lockdowns, the idea is to move to a country where I can have a normal life, not wear a mask, not vaccine id(it is something they want to implement here) and move to a rural area where I can work(online), little by little develop skills related to survive in this area of the world and if I have to "lost me" in the forest

Where I can go?, how is your country?, I know what belarus, switzerland and sweden didnt have lockdowns.

Thanks
My budget is 1000e or less

Note: I speak about politics because it is a very important thing in my case and I know for sure I will get in troubles for that.

Doesn't seem like there's much places to hide really. The 3/2nd world country arbitrage the forum use to love is now negated as they are even dumber about it all. Switzerland on 1000e won't work unless you get another job. Think maybe local but more countryside but I have no idea where you live.

As one of many opinions you'll come across: don't expect to have the your idealized "human rights/freedoms" to be had beyond the fence. The grass is not greener in most cases. Truth is every government seeks to strip you of your rights unless you actively fight for them. If they're not doing in plain sight, they're doing it in the backrooms. Belarus, Switzerland and Sweden are all Big Brother states. Unless you live in Africa, South America, Middle East or other violent and broken down society, I'd recommend you to stay in your current country, study your constitution and your rights, find or create your own community and be the change you want your country to have - even if it means martyrdom. Sadly modern world forces many of us to make compromises with our lives at some point of our life, but that doesn't stop or neglect our life overall. If you live inside of Schengen-Area, it doesn't really matter where you relocate yourself: I'd personally recommend RURAL Estonia, Norway or Finland.

West coast of New Zealand could be good its very remote and away from any big cities and poz culture (tip avoid Auckland it is full of sjw type people). Country is free of Covid. Any of the old mining areas on the west coast are good lots of right minded decent folk there. My wife is from there hence I have experience of it having lived there for extended periods. Life can be a little bit behind the times so expect coal / logs for heating and limited mod cons.

Hello, theanos. I agree with everything you said. It is good to see someone else on this forum who sees that the virus as a whole is a 100% hoax to take all of our remaining freedoms away, and not just another Trumper who still believes that politics, elections, and democracy still exists or ever existed in the first place. I assume you are in a Western country as I am. There may be safe havens to be found in South America, Asia, and perhaps Africa, but as one previous post said, their governments are generally far more openly tyrannical. In addition, the immigration process will be immensely harder than it previously would have been. I would consider finding the most rural and cost effective area in your province or state. It would be ideal to try to acquire the most self-sufficient lifestyle possible that will not require you to go into a city or a suburb ever again. I am still exploring these possibilities myself and cannot claim that I know the exact solution to escape the tyranny now occurring. I have also had a hard time thinking of any ordinary or average job that will not require the wearing of a mask. I hope for a response from you to continue the conversation. I rarely find a post where I concur with all of the sentiments of the commenter.

Since the Chinese virus I have been to a few countries.

UK - there was no requirement to wear a mask anywhere as far as I know and most people didn't wear one. The government initially planned to do next to nothing before bending to the mob. Churches closed, or only recently opened.

Spain - you had to wear a mask everywhere in public - including outside, but there was little sign anyone cared. Places were busy. Churches open since at least July.

Hungary - one of the more zealous in terms of international arrivals. I believe a mask was required in shops, but there was little sign anyone cared. It was busy and I saw some establishments ignoring the mask rule. Churches open since at least August.

Croatia - wasn't there for long. Seems masks were required, but little care. Don't know about churches.

Serbia - masks required in shops, but many didn't care. Some shops with mask signs on the door did not care if you ignored them. Some people wearing masks in the street, but a noticeable lack of care. Churches open since at least August.

Belarus - No sign of any rules. Barely anyone at the airport had masks on. Same in shops. One shop asked me to put a mask on. Churches open sine at least August.

Goddam, I thought I traveled a lot, @gework is traveling more during the shutdown than even I did under normal circumstances.

The circumstances are the reason.

I only planned to go Spain, with Ukraine likely following. But I had to go to Serbia. The quickest route seemed to be via plane to Budapest. I read I could arrive without quarentine, but when I arrived I was told I must quarentine for 14 days. But they said I could leave immediatly for Serbia. But after looking all the transport to Serbia was cancelled, owing to Serbia being on Hungary's yellow or red list. So I got a bus ticket to Romania, but you can't enter Serbia easily if at all from there either. So I ended up staying in Hungary for a few days and exiting to Croatia. In Croatia I was told and the website said there was a train to Serbia. But when I got to the last train station in Croatia, the man there told me there was no train and that I have to walk 15km to Serbia.

The mosquitoes were insane in Serbia this year. Apparently they have never been do bad. They are active all day, in the rural areas, and if you are still at night you will be feasted on in 20 seconds. I suspect you wpuld die if you slept outside.

The Balkan, nonEU countries are particularly difficult to get in and out of.

I wanted to go to Ukraine, but the flight there has been cancelled. Even though you can enter from Serbia without quarentine. So I am in Belarus. Their entry details are sketchy so I arrived without an accomodation booking. But its relaxed here. I will stay here for a bit and then to Ukraine. Once I've improved my Russian I will take a trip to Pridnestrovie.

It depends what you mean.

New Zealand is mentioned above but has confiscatory tax rates.

Hungary is mentioned - they are very strongly anti-Globo-Homo. It doesn't suffer from diversity, has a very homogenous population. But the government may be less "free" in terms of speech, and other freedomes. BTW, there is a statue of Ronald Reagan in one of their main squares in Budapest.

Here is an interview of Doug Casey that is somewhat on topic. He recommends the Harry Browne book, How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World.

Its a good book, but a word of caution. Freedom is not easy or free as they say. There is not some utopian country that you can just pick up an move to. You have to really think through what freedom means to you, and then set out to achieve it. Browne's book basically is about how to do it without relocating by re-defining your relationships with people and the state.

I first read this book nearly 20 years ago, when I was looking for a no-brainer utopia to move to. I was disappointed with the book because that is not what its about - such a utopia doesn't exist. Also, implementing the ideas of the book is not easy. But with time I have come to understand the wisdom of the book and the true value of the sort of freedom it espouses.

For those of you who don't know, Browne was a client and mentor of Doug Casey. Casey sponsored Brown to run for President as the Libertarian candidate on multiple occassions.

Great article Hypno. Especially insightful:

If you’re lower class—which is to say have a lower class mentality— you just accept what you’re given. The lower classes are defined by psychological demoralization, apathy, and hopelessness. At best, they just think about having stuff—cars, houses, food, mates—but don’t even succeed at that very well because of their values. I doubt, however, that anybody now reading this fits into that category. Historically, they’re by far the largest group, and their numbers are now growing rapidly.

I increasingly wonder if the US even has much of an upper class any more. Being upper class is all about values, primarily being something. Money, power, and prestige don’t make someone upper class—they’re consequences of upper-class values unless you win the lottery or have great athletic, entertainment, or sometimes even business ability. Then you can masquerade for a while. But those things tend to corrupt. It’s easy to descend and become effete, entitled. Ineffectual and stagnant.

Regarding the remaineder of the article, and the question at hand, is sorta like an economics question or a commonly posed question here on the boards. When does the collapse/breakup occur? How long do we have?

The collapse has already happened, is happening right now, in slow but accelerating motion. I don't know that there will necessarily be one moment that future historians can point to. Things will degrade and degrade and degrade.

I've said on this board before that I was expecting life in the west (and, frankly, most of the world) for the second half of this decade to be in an unambiguous state of disarray and something like war (it might be an informal thing as opposed to what we used to think of as war, but for organized and public violence to be commonplace, something some nobody might see and be affected by on any given day). After the events of 2020, I'm worried it's coming much sooner and I'm worried my plan to move out to the countryside next year might be too lazy.

It's becoming an open mad-house everywhere. My advice would be to get out of the city any way and anywhere you can. Large countries with huge swaths of land with more than enough food production to sustain itself would be ideal. Canada, Australia, USA etc are all going pear-shaped but the remote rural areas are still alive and well. Avoid areas susceptible to drought and / or other extreme weather conditions (cyclones / floods) and find a place with at least a post office within a 10 min drive. Any town with more than 3000 people is a risk. Old pal Leonard made a great thread about this.

Hungary is good.

However they are not as homogenous as you think.

They have a large gypsy population and besides that Cultural & Economical powerhouse of Hungary is Budapest and this city is quiet cosmopolitan.

More than 20% of people are foreigners and many non whites there.

But it is quite a special thing that Hungary in the middle of the EU is such an anti globalist country. However if not a continuous solution is not to be found, they will be subdued also.

West balkan countries are also a good choice but nothing lasts forever.

They have high immigration rates and eventually some of the natives that leave will have to be replaced.

Edi Rama, prime minister of Albania is Soros founded.

In Kosovo Americans removed Albin Kurti , one of the few sovereigns there.

Macedonia and Bosnia as multi ethnic countries are kept intact by the EU so that the Albanian and Serbian nationalists would not decimate them.

Evan Vucic, the prime minister of Serbia, who was the minister of information of Milloshevic ( a surplus idiot) is camouflaged globalist.

EU investments saved his country's economy eventually in 2014, but he has already passed a law that companies that employ foreigners have to pay less taxes.

We will see how the situation will be in 2030.

Anywhere with access to Hollywood movies & modern western propaganda you will see covert warfare.

Recent movies and series all program women for violence against men and men as useless idiots that won't fight back / will lose against her cunning nature.

Feminazis against men (false accusations, murders framed as self defense / "I heard voices" etc.), marxists against anyone who doesn't tow to the line, people going crazy from the corona isolation and covert warfare, random murders of people that trigger violent minorities, minorities in positions of power (police, government etc.) riled up by BLM, possibly a currency collapse in the future, mandatory vaccines, mandatory chipping in order to transact after a wave of kidnapping / constant robberies etc.

It's a brave new world out there and unless you hide in a village in Switzerland like Rothschild it's going to get ugly...

Only the most rural places will be spared...

OP, do you have a means of remote independent income?

After travel costs, travel health insurance etc, after 1 month you could be in a bad spot...

But go east, go rural...

The UK is fucked ($12k fine no mask??). Guys in mascara, muslims and refugees everywhere.

Maybe look at an internal non-lockdown state US though?

The collapse has been going on in slow motion since the late 60s. There are occassional spikes up and down, but expect it to continue in slow motion.

Through intentional inflatino of the money supply, the Fed has destroyed something like more than half of the purchasing power of the dollar in the past 20 years, and 99% of the purchasing power of the dollar in the last 100 years.

There is a good book about how to protect yourself (that interestingy was written by Harry Browne) titled the How to Profit From the Coming Devaluation. Harry saw things going wrong and forecast that the U.S. would devalue the dollar versus gold in the early 70s like FDR did in 1933. Instead, the U.S. ended the convertability of dollars into gold for foreigners in August 1971 (FDR had made it illegal for Americans to own gold, and this right was not restored until 1975), and this caused gold to go from $35 to $800 in 9 years. The rise was only halted when the Fed allowed interest rates to rise above 20%! I can remember my parents had a mortgage with a rate like 9%, and my first house I bought I paid 7.5% and paid 8% on some student loans. These days, 30-year mortgage rates are around 3%, and the yield on a 10-year treasury is well less than 1%!

In times of deflation and low rates, you effectively have negative real rates, and asets like gold and precious metals rise. It might be good for crypto currencies for the same reasons its good for gold, although they didn't have cryptos when Harry was writing. From a freedom perspective, cryptos have some aspects better than gold. For example, its difficult to cross a border and keep your gold, but its easy to keep your cryptos.

I agree, that was the beginning of the end, by coupling the breakdown of the family and continued slide of anything worth saving, like Christianity or founding institutions, which are all but dead now (and family, virtue, principle along with it).

If you had to guess, how much longer is the slide? 5-10-20? Or is it just a shifting, spiking regional thing as we are sorta seeing now?
