Where to escape coronavirus lockdowns/tyranny?

Apologies if this isn’t the best thread to post this question — I tried using the search function but wasn’t having any luck with that.

Does anyone have any thoughts as to when the U.S. will open its borders to European travelers again?

I’ve heard many conflicting reports and am curious if someone more knowledgeable than me knows anything about that situation.

You will have to define "open" more clearly.
If you mean an "open" border for European tourists like it was until the year 2019 without quarantine, tests or vaccines, you may have to wait at least 5 to 10 years at minimum.

Open for someone who unfortunately has taken the vaccine but has since awakened to what’s actually going on.

Do you happen to know what any of the other countries are that this strategy would work for? Or is there a list online you could refer me to? Much appreciated!

I don't think we can flee anywhere. This seems to be the best option, a parallel society/economy.

There's a UK dissident who bought a plot of woodland and built a decent off-grid house. Somehow, which he explained but I forgot, he managed to pass building regulations. He also talks about fellow dissidents doing the same and thereby building small communities. I also forgot how much it all cost, but it was minimal in comparison to on-grid residential (he does explain it all somewhere else on his channel). He makes a lot of sense in this video. My only criticism is that in such a densely populated, small land mass such as England, sooner or later you're going to come under scrutiny.

Woodlander does some really good content, and seems like a sound bloke, but i think he's ultimately been clever enough to game the system, and the way he's done it has been something of lucky break. As i recall he basically built it, and no one from the council noticed / objected, and then the set period for objections had passed, so it became his, by law.

I read bareknuckle boxer and former 'king of the gypsies' Bartly Gorman's autobiog not long back, and he did something similar himself. He actually got caught out, and the council tried to evict him and have his house torn down, but he made himself enough of a pain in the arse about it, that they ended up shrugging and leaving him be.

It's great that he pulled it off, but i'm unsure of it as any kind of example for others to follow. Essentially it seems that he gambled and won.

That person has to take a 14day vacation in Turkey for example before being able to enter.
?

My mother in law just flew here thru Turkey from an EU nation and all she needed was a negative PCR. She's not vaxxed. It was the normal 2 hr layover en-route. No issues with US customs.

You can't fly from or thru a Schengen country. It's not all of Europe which is banned.

Another positive check mark for Bulgaria.

My family has been coming and going, US---->Instanbul----->Sofia over the last year without any problems.

Yep... having spent most of the last decade in RF, can vouch.

Every trip to the UK, things have descended further...

Transexuals on TV sometimes to all the time...

Hipsters from metro-sexual to literally being unable to determine gender.

I don't even fly into London anymore if I can avoid it... too hellish.
In the UK I'd safely say that well over 90% of people work for the state directly and indirectly (as in working for govt contractors), work for a large corp and/or depend on state benefits. Small business owners/workers have been disappearing for years and since this medical war started even they depend on govt handouts to keep their businesses from closing down.
It is the epitome of a police state where the police are everyone.

Sadly the same has happened in the Canada and Australia and it's been building in the US as well. Millions upon millions state dependants for all their basic needs.

So, basically where you need to stay away from is countries with a welfare system of any scale. Countries where people have more or less to fend off for themselves will have survival instincts completely lost in most of the West.

Amen to that.

The British have become such a mong mass under the worship of the false God of the matriachal NHS death cult, whilst the broader welfare state effectively operates as a Daddy figure, sponsoring the toxic lifestyles of serial single mothers, feminists, feckless millenials, immigrants and all points in between.

This is the real cultural dominant familial structure in much of the UK society now.

@El Draque - What is your projection for Ukraine for the winter? I am told a lockdown or something is coming in, but that people probably won't comply. And does anyone have any on the ground intel from Armenia?

Looking to winter in Ukraine or Mummy Armenia from October, but getting to Ukraine looks like it might require a connecting flight.

The outlook on Russia seems the best for the region, since they have already shown they aren't going to succumb to outside pressure. The government recommends people get vaccinated, but has mandated people cannot be forced. The only place you will see masks outside of Moscow (where you will still see few) is in the shops of megacorps (and even then maybe not). Some of them have mask requirements on the entrance, but they are not enforced. My confidence is high that it will not fall.

I hear the UAE nothing has changed. Mask are required indoors and out - and you will at best get away with your nose out. Something like 95% vaccinated, which has been pushed by employers. If you are not an employee, you don't need. Also had the benefit of six regions with their own policy. One of which has a vaccine passport. The only way to opt-out is take a test every week. Apparently the emirate RAK has been the most lax. My reading is they do what they need to do to protect the economy, which would be quite sensitive to people leaving. I suspect that a large amount of the super high net work residents are in the 5% unvaxxed. I'd put it at 50/50 staying out of vaccine to enter.

If you are location independent, getting on a language course (with long-term visa) would be a good option. I may consider that next year.

And to top it all off the churches in the UK have completely cucked and folded over. The anglicans have done so long ago turning into a 'rainbow' church that would pretty much excomulgate you for not being gay.
And the Catholic church here is more Francis-esque than Francis himself if that was even possible. They couldn't close their doors quickly enough at the very beginning. Now they demand you register online before you attend mass, where you'll have to wear a mask and sanitise; the bishop of the dioscese I used to attend mass to said fonts are off limits as holy water can spread disease, for effings sake, holy water is used in exorcisms but will carry viruses! Faith is officially gone on these shores.
I went off on a tangent here but it shows how state money/bribes can absolutely corrupt the souls of the clergy, as churches have been receiving funds from the govt via local councils.

Hard to know really. I suspect just more of the same, which will be a half-arsed tapdance by the State, to look like they're doing something on the International stage, but in reality not that much changing on the ground.

Where are you now / from? That's key really, what your alternatives would be. Do you know Ukraine at all, or speak any Russian?

I've started going without mask altogether in supermarket here, since getting my visa. No one has said a thing, and i've done it approx 10 times since last week. Vast majority are masked, but as i say it seems half arsed, and peope as rule dont get in your face round here.

It depends what you want to do really, i'd imagine there'll be more half arsed lockdowns, but it wont be anything like you'd get in West. But still, if you dont have contacts or stuff to do, essentially you'll just end up in an appartment. But in the last 12 monts we only had one full lockdown, and even then some bars and restaurants were open (apparently) as speakeasies.

A lot of UK bashing here, clearly from some people who are not from the UK and may not have been there in years.

London : I am there right now after about an 8 year gap. It's a gorgeous city and always has been, with a deep history unrivalled virtually anywhere in the world. Right now it's far more pleasant than it used to be simply because the number of people there is down by roughly 60 - 70%. Still busy around Oxford Circus, Trafalgar Square etc but waaaaaaay down on what it used to be. Still tons of hot girls walking about.

And the Brits are back! I have heard Cockney accents, Liverpudlian, it seems the British are reclaiming their land. Long may it continue!

Rest of the UK :

I hail from a small village, and aside from increased propaganda on the TV and vaccine hysteria (which is pretty much all over the world), very little has changed. The smaller towns are just as pleasant as they used to be, but we're seeing far less foreigners than we used to. If we kick out the undesirables that streamed over here in the last 20 years or so, England would be as idyllic as ever.

On that note, guys from the need to look a little closer to home...Your country has a far worse demographic problem than mine, and much less evidence that it will ever be tackled.

My brother's wretched Methodist church rolled over and cucked from the very start. Closed altogether for months, then re-opened with masks. I'd guess now anyone injected will get a pass, haven't heard.

Never once seen a mask in a church here. In Georgia they were ever present. Our local church here was open throughout the full lockdown, as all were.

Good to hear a positive outlook.

However i think it's a bit fanciful to link hearing regional accents out and about in Central London to 'the british reclaiming their land'. C'mon mate, let's be serious here, this sounds like wilful delusion

Exactly who do you think is going to 'kick out the undesirables'? Boris? Priti Patel?

Seriously?!

Pull the other one fella. There's literally 1000 coming across the channel by the day. Let alone the legal Afghan refugees, let alone the Thrid Worlders getting in on muh NHS key worker visas, all the "British" Pakistanis bringing brides back from their land and all the rest.

Have a look at this school, utterly representative of countless others throughout London, Birmingham, etc. No muslims there either, this is a Catholic school. Likely a Muslim one just over the road.

As Lenin famously said, give me the schools, and i will give you the future.

Dont really understand what you mean in the last paragraph. Whose country are you referring to?

Does this person have a US passport or greencard? If so there's pretty much no restrictions (just a neg Wu Flu test)

If they dont then Id suggest flying to Mexico then to the US

Thing with UK is that RIGHT NOW it is not bad at all. No mask mandates anywhere. Only professions with vax mandates are health care/dealing with elderly related.

I just have this feeling in my gut that the UK have some sort of weird winter planned. And that this period of freedom is all part of the plan.

The UK govt go quiet for a long time, then make some big announcement. But it's nothing quite as extreme as the US/Canada which are now going all in. But just because they aren't doing that...yet...doesn't mean they aren't going to.

Yep, spot on. UAE is still on the recommended list and more and more people sceptical about it come here. Given that it plays a very important part as trading hub for Africa, things look good things stay as they are and no vaccine mandates needed to enter for the foreseeable future.
