Where to escape coronavirus lockdowns/tyranny?

FYI:

One THIRD of all jobs created in Q3 in the USA were from Florida. It may be worth keeping an eye, and if you're in a blue state USA (or another Euro/Anglo country that's gone full COVIDian) my suggestion would be to take advantage of that surge and move there.

Keep in mind: You do not need something perfect right away. It's like monkey-branching or finding a pivot in PUA. You don't need to jump for the perfect thing right away and it is often counterproductive to do so. Instead you get the ball rolling and take the course of action that improves your options now, then use that as a stepping stone to get to the real goal once you settle on it.

Once you get there you'll be in a much better position and somewhat removed from the immediate jeopardy of having all movement cancelled. Plus there are some major geographic advantages which I have already covered (access to a large number of "wild west" jurisdictions by sea).

I like the idea of moving there from the EU, just it seems that your gov. Ron DeSantis doesn't like the same ideas so much -)

DeSantis will be in the White House together with a certain orange fella quite soon. Keep that in mind when looking towards Florida based on the Governor.

You and me both brother. I think the US land border closes to the unvaxed on January 1 though?
Right, I think land borders still can be crossed even when unvaxed, but due to omicron they are changing requirements rapidly. But luckily for you Canadians, there are a lot of deep woods in the right places also.

For the Orthodox, I'd suggest choosing a destination you think will be best for your salvation. Covid rules are of course a factor, but I wouldn't want to move somewhere where I wouldn't be happy to stay and stick it out even if lockdowns came.

For those choosing the rural US, perhaps looking for somewhere near a monastery would be ideal. I believe that's what Elder Ephraim suggested for Americans.

Here's a real story from Bulgaria.

A couple stopped to grab a bite in cafe beside the road. The girl friend ordered two portion and asked the waitress to bring the other one to her friend outside.

- Why is he eating outside in the cold and rain? - the owner asked
- He does not have a pass? - she replied
- So?
- But they said that we needed a pass to enter a cafe.
- Who said that?! I didn't! So don't be silly and tell him to come in and eat by the fire, he must be freezing!

Pretty standard in Ukraine. We went to the giant mall outside town last week, never asked once, didnt wear mask, no one said anything in any shops (tho pther shoppers prob 90% masked). Restaurant today, no passes asked. I dont wear mask in supermarket now, security never say anything.

They clearly recognise me, as i'm there most days. Probably a bit of a seethe, i dont know, but either way no one says anything, i get stuff from deli counter, meat counter etc, no one says a thing. I feel a bit of a dick tbh, as i'm foreign and i hate breaking the law as a foreigner, but i just cant do it anymore, not every day like that.

There's big fines for public transport without pass, but never heard of anyone ever being checked, let alone caught. It's all just a LARP / terms of the IMF financial package.

Certainly not France, who look to be getting ready to impose a curfew:

Were there restrictions like this during WW2?
It's pretty crazy that people are still going along with the narrative after literally breaking every promise and mass vaccination accomplishing literally nothing, despite knowledge of how to treat/prevent Covid and lack of its dangers. I guess they have convinced people it's all because at least one person remains unvaccinated. Basically they just constantly distract the flock of sheep with internal divisions so they are constantly fixated on blaming one another instead of those who are in fact responsible–– and who could be defeated if the sheep would only unify together instead of constantly infighting.

I just don't get how people still believe the virus is more dangerous at night despite many making sarcastic jokes about the virus being so smart it can tell time. Is this from watching so many zombie and vampire movies? I can understand children thinking this way or people with IQ levels below 60 but grown literate adults should not actually believe a curfew will help.

Personally, I am strongly against curfews even in cases of violent riots and natural disasters. Curfews are an attack on liberty and are a punishment against innocent people. They also tend to hurt lower classes more (lower classes often work more unusual hours and can't rely on online delivery as much).

Florida grew the most, and I believe Texas stood tall at #2 in terms of growth.

They've been bred & selected to be a cattle-class ruled over by tiny elites for centuries, in some case maybe millenia.

I got this feeling in the Yucatan, i lived in a village outside a major city there, there were a lot of native descended there. Very mild, very malleable like. Seemed incredibly 'other' to me. Nice people, chilled, at least outwardly, but seemed dumb as a post and ultra compliant.

Could well imagine likes of Cortez getting there, taking one look at that pop, and thinking 'take out the local Alpha, these are just there to be ruled'.

Which is exactly what he did, and then repeated it all over Central and South America.

The Balkans definitely have much shorter history of civilization compared to those people. Once Civilized long enough. Even the more belligerent Ethnic Groups of the Balkans will converge into being the cattle-class that the Latin Americans have become.

If another Empire like Yugoslavia manages to unite them long enough.
