Message: <blockquote data-quote="perros" data-source="post: 1259124" data-attributes="member: 16832">I'm on team Millennial.Baby Boomers are running the country as we speak and have been running the country since the late 80s and early 90s and have really nothing to show for it.Baby Boomers started the illegal offensive war in Iraq based on lies, where hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians died and thousands of Americans died as well and are still there till this day.Millennials didn't start the Afghanistan war, where the Taliban has more territory now than the beginning of the start of the war.  The U.S. is bombing over 7 different countries as we speak.So we have all these wars where you send the millennial generation to go die, and run up the bill for iit as much as 7 trillion dollars and turn it over to the taxpayers.Baby Boomers repeatedly de-regulated the economy which led to massive boom/bust cycles and created the largest economic recession in 2007 since the Great Depression.  Baby Boomers signed away our future by supporting shitty outsourcing and trade deals like NAFTA/CAFTA and China.The cost of college has skyrocketed to the point where there's 1.6 trillion dollars worth of student loan debt in this country.  45 million people feeling this burden where back in Biden's day you can have a factory job without a college education and provide for a family of 4 on that salary.  Now you need a college degree to get a decent job, and even if you get the college degree its still no guarantee that you are going to get a high paying job or enough money to raise a family. Lets face it, the Baby Boomers totally have destroyed the country with bad decision after bad decision and worst of all it was their generation that allowed money into politics and the corrupted influence of money is at such a high level its comical where elections are run by corporations and billionaires who get whatever they want implemented while average workers are left for scraps. So these guys (the boomers) destroyed the country and the system and now as they are handing it off to us they berate us in the process.  There's this weird stereotype and caricature these people have of millennials that they are all spoiled, pampered little pricks, who are all about their "feelings" and are all eating avocado toast (Don't know where that came from but never met a millennial who has ever eaten that, but I digress).The millennial generation graduated from high school and college into the economic recession of 2007 and 2008 and many can't afford to do the basic things their parents or grandparents did in buying their first home or buying a car or start a family and were told and promised by a boomer generation that if they just go to college and get saddled with debt, their lives will be better.  Thank you boomers for selling out our future.</blockquote>
