Yuri Bezmenov - real or fake?

Most of you know who Yuri Bezmenov is, but for those who don't, he's that famous "ex-KGB officer" known from those grainy VHS clips where he discusses "how the Soviets are subverting the West".

The truth is, he was really a journalist working in India, who defected to Canada because the Soviet government wouldn't let him marry his Indian girlfriend, and the whole image was created by the CIA and CSIS.

What do you think of all this?

1. He's not famous at all. If he were some three letter stooge, I imagine he would have had much more media exposure.

2. His arguments in his interviews are very accurate, logical, and specific. The evolution of leftism in the US mostly followed the prediction he laid out. His speech is clear, organized and unexaggerated.

3. Its possible that he greatly exaggerated his role as a KGB agent. This doesn't refute his arguments or his experience as a Russian/Ukrainian living in a foreign country of interest to the Soviet communists. Though, if proven, that would change his credibility. I dont really see proof of that.

4. Its certainly not the complete picture, just one insight in the global ponzi scheme we are living in. I dont believe thats deliberate, Hes just giving the insider information available from his experience as one man inside a machine.

^ When I said "famous", I meant in this corner of the internet. He's probably gonna get more exposure due to the clips of him being used in the trailer to the new Call of Duty game.

His book, Love Letter to America, is a very fascinating read. It's on the internet archive here.

From the book:
Yuri Bezmenov said:
Scientific knowledge seldom generates strong collective emotions. Many scientists have preferred life and affluence to death for scientific truth. I have never heard of a man who would staunchly face a firing squad for the sake of defending the truth of the Law of Gravity or 2x2=4. But FAITH in the seemingly irrelevant (at the time) and immaterial teachings of Jesus Christ generated such tremendous MORAL FORCE in MILLIONS of human beings for the past TWO THOUSAND YEARS, that people willingly and happily accept violent death and tortures rather than deny their belief in Christ!

Communism and its Marxist- Leninist dogma, according to some thinkers (Dr. George Steiner for one), is another distorted form of FAITH, able to inspire martyrdom in millions. Substituting the traditional values of the Judeo-Christian heritage with this Marxist- Satanic faith is one of the basic principles of subversion at the stage of DEMORALIZATION — the highest and most effective level of IDEAS.

Eric Voegelin, a refugee from Nazi Germany, made very similar points in his book The New Science of Politics. Communists, Nazis, and other modern political movements have faith in the delusion that utopia can be achieved on earth. They're working towards what they think is the salvation of mankind, but their false beliefs result in actions that range from unhelpful to downright evil. Take feminists, for example: all the demands of the early feminists were met decades ago. And yet they're still miserable, which doesn't fit their utopian idea. So they assume that all the men in the world are united in an invisible patriarchy network to keep women down, and start making policies that align with that belief.

The antidote such nonsense is the Christian faith, which teaches that humans are born with the inclination to sin. And humans will keep killing, stealing, coveting our neighbor's wife, etc. until the day we die. We have to try to make the earth more like paradise ("thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven"), but we realize that there will always be evil and suffering until the next life. While have to do our best to reflect God's image, we suffer no shock when others don't. And we can work out our salvation without any political power, while the progressives' idea of salvation requires that it be imposed by the government through physical force.

The belief that everything is going to be okay in this life is a one-way ticket to profound misery.

“Journalist” is a very common cover story for spies, e.g.Kashoggi. Him being a journalist supports, not diminishes, the claim that he was a spy.

G Griffith is legitimate too. I think he has a poor understanding about many topics such as the federal reserve but I believe he is sincere.

This is really crazy, they keep upping the ante on coming out with it right in our faces. I really wonder what the gamers think looking at this trailer basically talking about the REALITY of what happened in the west.

As elites get more arrogant and secure, it's the rubbing it in people's face, the revelation of the method, as gone into detail by Michael Hoffman II

I was stunned by that Call of Duty trailer.

COD is made by Activision, which is owned by Activision Blizzard. From Wiki I don't see any ((())) names in management but I also see they have 20 billion in assets and 13 billion in equity. So I assume that means 7 billion in debt? (I'm no economics expert.)

They have to do what the banks that hold their debt tell them to do. What is the motive here? Stir the pot with military age males who play video games? I play COD fairly regularly with my friends, and by play, I mean break balls with my buddies who live across the country. The Warzone mode is actually a pretty solid way to work on military strategy and communication skills.

Gamers, I'd say a good half, are not all soy boy nerds. There are a lot of military men playing them... hell go to any Military Entry Processing station and COD stations are set up. They will understand this message.

I think this article is legit.

Jay Dyer made a twitter post about it.

That being said it is still usefull to watch him, because what he said the societs did are actually what the bankers are doing.

I used to fall into the Jay Dyer trap. His analysis of film and art/music is good. His political views are shit as far as I know. (I might be in the minority here as I know there's a lot of folks who like him on the forum) He was out there promoting Alexander Dugin...a communist who's allured a lot of alt right folks who are looking for the next intellectual Messiah of faux conservatism.

I don't think Dyer promotes Dugin. I think he says hehas some insights and goes in conversation with him. He also criticised Dugin. Imyself do not care at all about Dugin.

Real or fake, I don't think it matters as long as those of us who are dealing with the banksters understand their tactics and how to circumvent them. Either way, it aligns with that trope "they must reveal what they are going to do before they do it" part of the devil's esoteric rulebook. They told us, many ignored them, and now the banksters / bolsheviks are walking their boots all over our lives without restraint. Don't give them the room to do as they please with your life.

That's not the impression I got from watching him, and I used to watch/listen to a lot of Dyer. I'll watch the interview again (it's been about a year for me since I've seen it) Anyway, don't want to derail this thread about Dyer, whom I like for movie analysis but not politics necessarily.

Regardless, Bezmanov isn't a CIA plant. His model for Soviet subversion has played out to a T here in the US.

That's like saying Anthony Sutton was a CIA plant when he explained the Fed/wallstreet and all his other books as far as I can see.

When I became aware of Bezmenov, I remember I could not find any information about the circumstances, or even the date, of his death.

I went on Yahoo! Answers and asked if anyone knew how or when he died, and the next day I was banned for “violating terms of service” and my question was removed.

That was 5 or 6 years ago, and I remember thinking it was super weird.

Nowadays his Wikipedia page says he died of a heart attach on Jan. 5, 1993. But the whole thing was weird.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he turned out to be some kind of psy-op.

The degree of "Soviet"-ness of this subversion still remains to be seen. YB blames about any US evil on the USSR, without hardly ever offering any other evidence than "Trust me, I was part of it, I should know".

If his depiction of US evils is so realistic, perhaps it's because it comes from a more homemade source and all that blame on foreign powers is a mere extra veneer of propaganda ?

His discourse also has this typical ambiguity of anti-Communist preachers : to fight Communism, the American regime needs more totalitarian and Communist-like powers. For example, Americans must be less critical of their political leaders lest they be accomplices in the "demoralization" process.
